Illuvium is decentralized, a DAO. The governmental body, known as the council, is elected by ILV token holders every 90 days. If you have an idea that you feel will improve the game and community as a whole, you should start by sharing your idea in the #802110554784661544 section and getting feedback from the community. If there are no major issues, you could then write a proposal and submit it to the council for review. The council, which should be composed of knowledgeable & experienced members who think critically and accurately, will then deliberate if your proposal is truly best for the game and community. They will then vote to either accept or reject the proposal.

Originally, locked tokens were allowed to Yield Farm. This includes team members, core contributors, seed investors and the treasury. A proposal was carefully written up, submitted, and after very careful consideration... passed. so that only unlocked tokens can Yield Farm. This decision was made with you in mind, future ILV token holders. From this change, the benefit you gain from buying and Yield Farming ILV is amplified to the max.

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy a bit of money needs to be invested (not even close to entry fees in some other games though). Early on you might even be able to get to the paid regions just by grinding the free Tier 0 stuff because some people will pay for it on the marketplace to get ahead.

Don't worry about quality. It's profit margin that matters to some. As in how much is it worth spending on a T2 illuvial to speed up the efficiency of my grind.

Also there will be times when it's just optimal to buy an illuvial to get an early fusion vs having to grind to find a 3rd, or 9th, etc

We're aiming for accessable, so cost for a T1 illuvial would be the cost of travel, cost of a shard, and cost of someone's time

The price is dictated by laws of a free market economy because that's what it will be. That alone means there is potential for flipping, buying to level, fuse then sell, etc. Looking out for meta development and being able to supply the hoards running back and forth

In the end would it be better to spend 16 hours a day playing for instance, instead of spending 10 hours doing content creation and 6 hours playing. Then again maybe the same issues won't be there for twitch. It's much more seamless I suppose. Because playing is content creation.

Perhaps, but people need to have something to watch - there needs to be a draw and usually it's the personality of the streamer. There are great players out there that I don't watch because I don't relate to them / find them interesting etc.

It's not just Illuvium, there will be multiple games. If it's good and there's potential to earn, that's serious. I don't see why there couldn't seriously be a case for this to hit 100mil players.
