This means that even free T0 stuff probably will have value early on as some people for sure will pay to get ahead. What is there to explain? Illuvials in general are on a bonding curve. The more a certain Illuvial is captured, the harder it gets to find that particular one. When a new set is released, all the old Illuvials are no longer able to be captured (MAYBE a very rare and finite amount remains, still to be discussed). There will always be some form for free T0 stuff to gather/capture though. Otherwise people couldn't join the gamer later on.

A free to earn economy where you have to put 0 in while getting money back does not work. Too easy to hi-jack with bots and whatnot. Yes, you might get around a few fees by selling T0 early on, but in general - those that want to go into the play2earn route will have to take some ETH (or sILV) into their hands and pay for certain fees.

Illuvials in each set will have a finite supply, they are on a bonding curve. As time goes on, they will become harder to capture. The main in-game burn mechanic comes with fusions. In order to fuse a stage 2 illuvial you need to combine 3 stage 1's of the same illuvial. It's the same for stage 3, you would need to combine 3 stage 2 illuvials. The first set will be genesis illuvials and once the 2nd set is released you will no longer be able to capture the first set in the wild. You can still buy them in the illuvidex / P2P marketplace from other players.
