Clix is not a crypto influencer. A majority of his audience is probably younger in age and while I personally think that the promo our team put together is phenomenal in quality, what I was missing - again - is a few seconds of proper info about play2earn / nft's. I'm pretty sure that the majority of his viewership still won't understand what exactly Illuvium has to offer compared with traditional gaming. That is something I'm quite sad to see as it means a lot of potential lost.

We have 2-3b gamers out there without knowledge of blockchain gaming. But when this is done, it is important to also factor that lack of knowledge in when addressing this kind of audience and I don't see this properly done (from my point of view) in Clix's video. And again, I'm talking about the presentation in Clix video, not the promo part our team made. That is amazing but there should have been a few seconds by Clix talking about what play2earn, NFTs etc. actually are - in a way that is targeted to his audience.

In order to have a chance on capturing higher rarity Illuvials you need to pay a travel fee (think buying a booster in a card game) and then you can try to farm/capture as much as possible in that region until your power (not time based) runs out.

What you can buy right now is $ILV - the governance token for the game which allows you to vote and let's you participate in revenue distribution if your $ILV is staked.

While it is pure speculation, I don't think we'll go below $80 again ever. BTC has been trading sideways for a while now and despite a somewhat "bad market" overall, $ILV keeps pumping and this is without any detailed gameplay videos or anything out yet. I could see us go up and down a bit around $100 before really breaking through, considering it is such a huge psychological barrier, but I'd be surprised if we see a major downwards trend soon. I mean, just wait for the gameplay to actually get advertised and/or have BTC start pumping again (which inevitetably will affect the alt market as well positively)

I still stand with my personal speculation that I expect us to reach $5+ per token per month very quickly, $10+ within the first year while I don't think that something like $20+ is completely unrealistic. But this is all speculation since we have almost no numbers from Illuvium to take into consideration and as much as Axie numbers right now can be used as a reference, they haven't been proven long-term yet.

I think they are talking about different things. The flow of money from wealthy to those without much is heavily a part of some of these protocols. There is no doubt of this. It means that there are certainly people earning money playing these games.

However, medium term I don't think there can be 'wealth created' in the same way that this person might be thinking. This is the exact reason why we have tried to make the GAME appealing. Being able to say 'it is a game, and it's crypto' isn't going to be enough. People will soon realise that they are holding on to some early bird tulips.

Where a game can have value is through entertainment. If it doesn't have that, it won't be important long term.

So I wouldn't say that either person is 'wrong', just talking about different things.

What are people thoughts on only having 7-10 million tokens? I see pros and cons to that. Just worried when it starts reaching $200-$1000 that it will scare a lot of people away from buying. If it was lower we would have more people buying. My thoughts are if we want to gamers to hold the tokens it will have to be cheaper. If we want investors to hold the tokens then we have the right strategy. Of course there will be some that are both but that will become more rare as the price increases.

Illuvials in each set will have a finite supply, they are on a bonding curve. As time goes on, they will become harder to capture. The main in-game burn mechanic comes with fusions. In order to fuse a stage 2 illuvial you need to combine 3 stage 1's of the same illuvial. It's the same for stage 3, you would need to combine 3 stage 2 illuvials. The first set will be genesis illuvials and once the 2nd set is released you will no longer be able to capture the first set in the wild. You can still buy them in the illuvidex / P2P marketplace from other players.
