In game when you find an illuvial, there is a chance the encounter space itself is holographic. This will guarantee your capture is a holo.
You also have a chance of capturing a holo during the shard capturing process.

The benefit of a holo encounter space is every illuvial will be holo.

You can then merge 3 holos into a dark holo nft, if you so choose.

Remember, illuvials are not infinite, when they are gone, they are gone, so merging nfts to make stage 2 or 3 evolutions reduces supply.

We very carefully asked ourselves what needs to happen to make rarity a legitimately evolving function of the game.

Not going to weigh in on whether or not I think $10k per $ILV is something realistic to discuss, but just in general: If numbers like $1k+ per $ILV actually will be reached, I don't think it's unreasonable to take some profits and use that liquidity to invest super early in other projects again for possibly more big gains long-term. Also, diversification is always a good idea.

This is my plan, many might agree or disagree with it: if I get a very good passive income (lets say more than $3k) I can start experimenting and make many more and new mistakes. I can use lots of other platforms with my passive income to double, triple or multiply my current income, but I wouldn't really touch my original stake even if it hits high numbers. I think there is still a long road to go, but pretty sure it is the future. That is if big commercial parties won't hi-jack it and just turn it into another mobile-type monetization scheme. I think the best part about Illuvium is that the revenue stream 100% goes to the owners of ILV. I am far more skeptical of these 'land' sales and other in-game item sales since so many depends on what the devs will actually deliver and if they won't deflate the value by creating new and better nft sales later down the road. Getting the sustainable play-to-earn economy right seems like it will be a huge challenge which will take some time to solve
