not certain what you mean. It's crypto... so if you buy the token the token is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. The bot says the token is worth $46.87 right now, so if you buy then it is worth that much. Could drop or go up. But as long as there is liquidity (right now mostly on sushiswap) you can sell the token back to the market.

yeah, your getting into the difference between a security and a crypto token. A security (i.e. stock) works that way, but ILV is just a governance token. You don't own the company "Illuvium", you just own the token that will drive how they operate. It's a very gray area

To be completely honest, I actually intended to start a business recently (got a good, well-paid, safe and not time intense job so there was room for it) and took out a loan to set everything up. Then I stumbled across crypto gaming, NFTs etc. a week ago and shut whatever I had started for the business already (nothing major yet) down again and went all in into crypto games and NFTs with the money (a majority into ILV) 😄 So not rich at all, just completely crazy 😄

I think a misconception about investing in new projects is that the earlier is the best. There’s a lot of hype /advertising that goes into the initial sales and usually a dull period afterword until bigger announcements come. Alice coin for instance peaked at like $30 when it first went on sale and it’s like $5. In ILVs case we haven’t seen much yet except for the art. Once there’s gameplay footage from beta circulating, it’ll garner more attention. Also the market is itself is hurting so I’m not personally worried about ILV

I know what a first person shooter or rpg is like - Illuvium is a hybrid between monster catcher and auto battler and that's never been done before.
