Hey! Are you talking about participating in the game? Illuvium is still in development and the team is aiming for release at the end of Q3/start of Q4. The closed Beta is coming in around the end of Q2 this year though so you can request to be a part of that in #795444126421483520 for now (application process and details will likely come out closer to the launch of the beta though)
As for your question about anything to buy-- we have the ILV token available for purchase if you're interested in governance or staking/yield farming rewards 🙂 The game itself is going to be free to play but if you want to earn money while playing, you'll have to invest money to make money. The in-game currency will be ETH so you do not need to own any ILV to play

That's exactly my point. We say oh after the launch it will explode as people will start playing, but I'm still concerned about lots of people who can't even transfer assets, let alone spend Eth. Many just buy and hodl on CEX. And they are a lot. Not all can speak English properly so it wouldn't be so bad to have an educational tag in the website in different languages dealing with this issue. Because if they cannot do it, they cannot play really.
