ILV stays on L1 always. It doesn't go onto IMX (technically you could do it, but it wouldn't have a function)

When you farm yield, it is held in escrow until you claim it. You can claim it two ways. As ILV, where it gets locked for 12 months and adds to your stake. Or you can claim it as sILV and use it in game. When you claim it as sILV you just lose the ILV. There is never a time where you buy back ILV using sILV.

slippage can make your transaction fail if you happen to catch a gas spike
