I have mentioned this problem many times. I have sent a bug report. I have deleted the history. I have used a different browser. For 4-5 days now the game has been constantly crashing and logging me out. I regularly put money into the game and yet my situation is being handled superficially (or rather not at all). Please look into it because this situation is unbearable and if it does not change I will not spend a single dollar anymore..

I would be happy if I didn't get instructions on what to do. I know it's easier than looking into the problem but I've tried everything. I'm not asking for more attention than anyone else but this is outrageous.

During a game the connection is lost 5-10 times. Error code 403. Forbidden. It says this. Then I have to wait a few minutes, I press f5 and it logs back into illuvidex by itself. But to play a run, I have to restart the game 5-10 times. I can't pick up ergon fields with difficulty...I just suffer. I haven't had a problem in a year. If it continues like this and I don't get help, there will be one less ow player because it's impossible to play. I won't spend money to be nervous.

I had a similar bug.
It happened to me due to very high activity.
For example, crafting several thousand shards in a short period of time.
But after a few minutes of inactivity, everything went back to normal.

I know it can be frustrating, but you also always have to keep the bigger picture in mind.
Markets are tough, runway is short, team got reduced... most devs need to focus to get features implemented to actually bring in enough paying players to keep the lights on.
Game breaking bugs for the whole player base for sure get worked on and solved, but unfortunately smaller bugs or individual problems aren't on the top of the priority list.
not saying you won't get help, but it unfortunately can take time to fix that stuff, since there are likely not many people working on those "smaller" problems, especially on those special days like easter-days.

(Just my personal assumption, since i don't know how it actually looks behind the scenes... i'm also just a mod with the same public knowledge everybody has in here)

Friends, this situation is very similar to one I experienced earlier.

Once, I crafted a large amount of weapons in Overworld. The game automatically gave me a ban — for about 5 days.
After that, a similar issue kept bothering me for about a month and a half. I could play for 5–15 minutes, and then I had to take a break. I contacted support multiple times and described the problem in detail.
But one day, the problem just disappeared.
Sorry to the support team, but I’m convinced this was a hidden ban. Maybe even you aren’t aware of it (I can’t rule that out), but it’s real.

It wasn’t about VPNs or proxies. I used a paid VPN, and I also used a rented computer located in a completely different country — the problem persisted everywhere.

Then one fine day, everything started working perfectly.
Did I change the VPN? No.
Did I change the rented computer? No.

The problem just vanished on all devices.

So here’s a free tip for Overworld players:
Don’t perform too many actions in a short period of time.

we 100% don't do hidden bans. If you're banned, APIs respond with a 423 status code and the messages in game clearly tell you that you've been banned

Let me clarify a bit. There are two types of this issue.

1️⃣ A short-term problem. It looks like this: you crafted a lot of items, your nickname disappeared on Illuvidex. You wait for 10 minutes, and the problem is solved.

2️⃣ My problem. It looks like this: you crafted a lot of items, a ban notification appears in the game, and you can't even log in. Your account has to be manually unlocked by support. After the unlock, your game becomes a nightmare. The problem was resolved after about a month and a half. What exactly was done to my account, I don't know.

There is an automated list of datacenters that are blocked by AWS - your VPN could be hitting that. Hard to know without digging into it more

Hey dear Stuart, as you know, when we try to burn 99 shards of any level, the system splits it as 39/39/21. In short, burning exactly 38 shards at once is the most efficient, but manually increasing the number from 1 to 38 takes time and if we’re burning 250–300 shards, it can take over 15 minutes.

Would it be possible to enable manually typing in the number? Or perhaps you could simply limit the burn mechanism to a maximum of 38 shards. That would be much easier.

I understand your frustration with the bugs. But if I understand the team's approach correctly, their current priority is:
first, introducing the core features — and only after that, polishing.

If I got it right, they believe that the upcoming features will shake everything up, so it wouldn’t make sense to spend time on polishing things that might soon change anyway.

I think we just need to hang in there a bit longer. The Arena already looks close to being in great shape.

Core future was a year ago, and since then with every patch the game becomes more unplayable. To me, the arena doesn't look good at all, in every match you find at least 10 problems, just look carefully. I'm still waiting for the arena to look good.

Idk bro, i ´ve played like 200+ Arena matches in 3 weeks, and i´ve noticed little bugs in 1 from 5 games. Mostly the autosell weapon bug after you change it, and other minor bugs.
I hated arena before because of it, but i can assure u it´s 100% playable and enjoyable ... it´s like if you are refering to a totally diferent game tbh

and i´m playing from an Ultra low connection with a VPN, so that´s not an issue , as it was before. I can reconnect if any crash happens.

I understand the logic that it is not reasonable to convert 1:1 because the new system provide a very different drop rate for Illuvials. So the middle ground was refund.

While the refund rollout has been questionable... at least it's there. And if players have been paying attention it requires simple steps to get your refund. But I'll concur they didn't communicate nor implement refund very well.

So I disagree about it being a scam. Actually I am glad for the refund. I'll be able to get a lot more fuel than what was converted now.

I had something like 3500 fuel after the conversion, so 100+ T3 runs worth was reduced to 3 runs worth. I spent like 2 or 300 of that since then, and they wanted 4k to be eligible for refund. So, i had to claim a fuel crate to get about the eligibility req.

I can't find a way to see the actual numbers, but here is what I have in my mind:

I won a little over 200 fuel in Gauntlet.
I have done a few 24 fuel runs, and one 149 fuel run.
I have done about 8 or 10 ADRs.

So I have spent about 350 or so, about 150 of that would have been deducted from my orignal post-conversion balance.
When I went to check the eligibility page, I had 3200ish fuel, and the doc says I needed 3939 to be eligible.

So in my estimation, I would have been given about 3500 or a little under, and needed nearly 4k to be eligible. This would force me to buy more to meet that mark, and that's what has me irritated, thats pretty lousy.

Generally speaking, seems like the unified fuel, economy revamp, Stripe payment system, drop rates, ADR are all working way better than the previous system. Ofc the reward incentives help. Still, the new system feels better.

They chose to penalize the very players who believed in and invested in the project from the beginning. In the new fuel model, the more fuel you buy, the greater the discount you receive. Yet, for those of us who supported the project early on, the opposite happened — the more fuel we had, the more expensive it became!

Take my case, for example: I probably had over $200 worth of fuel, which should have allowed me to buy two 12,000 fuel packages or even one 25,000 package (20,000 + 5,000 bonus), if such a bundle existed. Instead, I was given just $9,740 in credit — which means I now pay nearly $20 for every Stage 3 run.

Can someone explain the logic behind that?

Shouldn't it be the opposite? We believed in the project, we invested, we stayed loyal for a long time — don’t we deserve even better conditions than what’s being offered now?

Maybe a 1:1 conversion wasn’t viable for the project, but a more favorable conversion than the one based solely on bulk discounts would at least feel fair — and it would motivate those who stayed loyal instead of making them feel punished.

New Overworld will definitely be designed with sinks in mind, especially our main NFT collection, there's some good ideas floating around already, but obviously it's some time away

Zero is the prime candidate for illuvial utility but with the recent cuts also has the smallest team, so will take time

Ecosystem-wide there's some new stuff coming but also requires effort and everyone is hyper focused on either last touches on Arena or shifting to the New Overworld

Remember supply will be cut eventually for Set 1 and I don't think we have that many yet, sure there's tons (too much?) of T0/T1 but after that it gets better. Add in a MMO playerbase who wants to "catch em all" due to the utility and they will be quite rare

All above is personal/idea-level, I am confirming nothing with this, good game is paramount, even more than our main collection

Using ILV to pay for anything in Illuvium has never been one of the utilities that ILV has.

If you’ve got ILV you can swap your ILV for eth and then use that eth to buy fuel. If that ILV is on ethereum main net then that’s likely best done using sushi swap or an aggregator. If that ILV is on immutable X L2 chain then you could look into using immutableswap.io (can even just use the passport wallet/account)

It is the total xp level of all illuvials, so if you have one 30 you can have two low level illuvials

Or you have 1 illuvial that is level 30 and two illuvial that is level 1 you can fuse to the next stage.

I would recommend using the illuvidex, there you can filter for tpi and/or stats. Plus you should have lower fees.

You can search for "lesser water fliish", filter the 78TPI (or filter for the exact stats your flish has instead of tpi) and check the floor price.

My feeling says it's not worth that much 🙂

• Normal (common)
• Holo (rare)
• Dark Holo (ultra rare)

can someone explain the fuel refund to me for 5 year olds?
as far as i understand it, you need fuel in your wallet for them to remove to give you more fuel?
i understand you can can claim it in eth as well. but if you claim in fuel, does it net 0? or is there a benefit to doing this?

You can ask for a refund for unused fuel at the time of the conversion.
Fuel needed to be bought for cheaper than 25% of the old top rail to be eligible.
Depending on when and for what price you bought, you might end up with more fuel if you get your refund and claim again with fuel. (you also get +20% if you claim in fuel instead of eth)

you can check your passport adress in the spreadsheet in the announcement and do some basic math to check if you would profit

Point of the refund is:

• There was a conversion rate, reducing the amount of fuel left in customers passport very harshly.
• Lot of discussions for a better conversion rate or other solutions.
• Result of the discussions was that they offer a refund-option for people not happy with that harsh rate.
