Yeah, I guess that's kind of the main point. I feel like Overworld should've been the main game (and it sounds like from the BIG announcement that was what they were moving towards) but I just still keep seeing stuff about the Arena and Gauntlet and whatever. Like the whole idea was to be a web3 pokemon type game. In pokemon you have a battle, but it was simple with some general strategy. Just my opinion for what it's worth. The people that like Arena have probably stayed longer, the people that wanted Overworld or Zero type builder have already left.

Arena has always been the main first game.

This was never in doubt, it’s been confirmed many times by senior team members over the years.

What people don’t always understand is that it takes a lot longer to make a good MMO than it does to make a good auto battler.

Obviously once we finally have Arena ranked going nicely, (bringing in steady income via people buying or catching illuvials using fuel), there is an opportunity to move forward with the MMO.

Without a successful Arena to fund the work, there will be no MMO. Is my personal expectation.

That overworld was supposed to be the main game and the main driver of adoption. I.e. exactly what they said in their post. It didn't go as well as they would've liked, so they focused on other items (Arena, Discs, Zero/land sales, etc.) and marketed/pushed those way more, got over complicated, and is why we're here now.

Basically, I'm complaining like a child because I didn't get my way of wanting Overworld to be the main focus and best play, and am bitter the project didn't stay with that route for whatever reason.

The next season will be pivoted much more towards leaderboards and things. Ranked play, climbing in the ranks and things that push competitveness.
That being said, there's no finalised list of things for the next season - perhaps we'll see reward systems for all game modes, not just arena...

However, to answer your original question, it is planned to be dropped when Gauntlet is in a more polished state and the team are happy to drop incentives, without the risk of people crashing; as that would be very frustrating for the player.

As for Testnet download, if you can't see the download on your Epic Games, you likely dont have access. It was for previous beta runs that people have it now.
Perhaps one of the guys can give you a code though? 👀

It is not intended, it's a bug that is being looked at by the team already

When I mentioned it being something they spoke about in the past as a change they would make, that was speculation after the update that perhaps it was now. However, team have confirmed it's a bug and this is not the intended UI. It'll be fixed as soon as the team are able to, and I assume it'll go back to how it was prior to the update

Bonus decreases, since the bonus is generated based on the top + bottom rail. Basically supply and demand; if there's more fuel being sold than people are buying, the bonus will go up amd vice versa

What if they left it so you can't see stats before you capture the illuvials, I think it would make each run much faster, and increase the price of the good stat Illuvials on the ILLDex, I know a lot of players would not want this to happen and I am one of them, and a lot would leave the game, But did they not say it was never meant to be like this in the first place, and we just got lucky as being first adopters of the game. Is this still going to be removed in the future anyway.

If you are catching a lvl 1 stage 1 the game gives you the base values of an illuvial, if you use shift and hover mouse over the illuvial picture of the stage, just have to do the math yourself. In this example the omega is 30%, attack dmg is 10%, attack speed is 30%, and resistances are 40%. hp is 10% but need illuvidex to know base is 1250

if we can't see the stats then we should be able to have enough energy to catch the whole map

and then at the end you see that from the 150 illuvials catched u have 10 decent ones ;))

U need to know what stats the symbols stand for. It's the stat modifier which is a % gain from the base. Air Doka on the right shows all the base values while the left one is the illuvial in the instance with the bonuses.

I keep looking at this and trying to work it out and yes I get it the left one is the base one and the right one is what this particular Illuvial has with modifiers… clearly the % would be easy to work out if it was base 100 % and moving in 10% increments which should bring me to 150 % max? I haven´t engaged with this recently, but unless things majorly changed, right is level 1, no modifier at all, left is the one you fight with all bonus % included

bonus % can be

1. level (1% increase on omega/HP/ATK-damage/Resistance per level)
2. random stat bonus each illuvial has, range 0-50% on each stat
3. the bonuses the enemy gets from encounter mods, like 80% bonus omega power or attack damage

for player relevant is mostly the random stat part, as you want ones with better stats, maybe they will have/keep extra utility, if there are consumers for that

I guess you can´t see those easily anymore though, hope it is just a bug, rather player unfriendly

i think she basically means OP is super easy to see the actual value, HP is somewhat manageable, but the rest are way harder, u can obviously do it but who's spending 10 minutes in market per 1 illuvial to do this

It's supposed to be 1% per level but it's not. I looked at it a few days ago. It works in an exponential curve. From 1 to 2 is a 1.04% gain and from 1 to 21 is 22%.

Regardless of stats, there's a ton I want for when set 2 release and I can no longer get set 1

Some will tell you there's no point playing until it's fixed cos 'cant see stat so why pay fuel dur' - but it depends on the reason you play. Personally, I am just bulking what I have and hunting Holo/Dark holo

Nope, there's currently no timeframe given on Set 1 end

Initial conversations back in the day was anytime from 12-18 months I think, maybe even 24 months at a push... But it's anyones guess atm while things are still under a lot of changes + adaptations.

My personal guess would be around end of 2025 we might transition. Maybe sooner if all goes smooth - but that's just my hunch

Only ILV can be staked, or a shared pool of ILV/ETH

I managed to get ETH from my Pionex account where it wasnt doing much in a bot .... and to My MetaMask..... I would have sent it directly to my Passport Wallet if I knew it would have been safe to do so.... but now.... I have a different issue... Its showing that I recieved the ETH and is showing on the browser extension... but not the portfolio main balance showing is still 0

It refuses to pop open metamask extension... it only opens coinbase extension

To transfer tokens on immutable I just use tokentrove

its really effective and easy
