It got mentioned often that Arena has to be in a good shape before launching s3.
Which i guess is, when it's stable, somewhat balanced, and features Like spectator Mode or scouting enemy battleboards are in and working.
When the new features are live, you can expect some bugs which hve to be fixed before s3.

So i wouldn't expect s3 before february/march but thats just a Personal guess.

So i don't know what you can expect fps whise.

But 4 fps seems super low.
I suspect you should be able to get more even with a lower spec build, and keeping gpu drivers up to date is crucial for any game's fps.... so i would give it a shot.

I partially agree with what you say, but you know that the players who earn income from each airdrop do not stay here. They claim their ILV and walk away, so this is already a risk. I wish the remaining 4 airdrop seasons to be completed somehow. Most people who do not have thousands of dollars need the market to get a little more active... I could easily sell most of the things I caught when the Overworld market was active. If we can come back to that period, it may provide opportunities for newcomers... At least they will realize that they can easily earn income from here.

To my understanding, Illuvium Labs has some freedom when it comes to implementing changes they believe are best for the games & ecosystem, in this case Automated Drone Runs. This is simply a new feature to available to Overworld.

This would fall into a GFP if proposed by the Community, which would push labs to investigate and follow proper channels to have it implemented (If passed by community sentiment and approved through ICC & IMC).

As a DAO, we can push back and create a proposal to remove it, if majority of players deem it should be removed or detrimental to the ecosystem

You are free to use the disks however you want after purchasing them, the issue lies that when they are on the secondary market, it is extremely easy for people to trade them amongst each other and game the 'reward' system. Frustrating for someone in your position who has purchased those diskss expecting them to count, but can't do much about it sadly.

I love Overworld to...the only reason i play illuvium still everything failed me...but Overworld looks so amazing granted neads some more action but it could be an addictive game. First off, this is a crypto game. It doesn't pretend not to be. So there will always be people trying to invest, extract, gain some kind of profit, p2e, p2w, p2a. I'd argue, everyone wants to win in some way or another. Nice thing about the Illuvium ecosystem is there are so many ways to win (or lose). Token, land, illuvitars, illuvials, marketplace flipping, promos, winning tournaments, getting on leaderboards... lots of different ways to play or engage.

So asking about OW specifically doesn't make sense to me because I see it as a holistic ecosystem. Ideally they all work together to create a thriving community of players and engagement. Ofc whales will win certain parts of the ecosystem that are able to be acquired through paying. I don't see anything wrong with that. That brings in revenue. There are other parts of the ecosystem that require skill like arena... Arena will have leaderboards that pay out. They used to before even.

Oh... and Beyond is fun. Make the other games fun and you'll get more players (:

The pack opener is an addition to the Overworld, not directly related to $ or success.

Me personally I'd love to open 1 or 2 packs a day rather than spend 60 minutes in an Overworld where Illuvials are 5km away from each other. But that's because it suits my personal life better, nothing more, nothing less.

Why not have the option for both?

Nice thing about Beyond is that it can be set up like clockwork... every 3-4 months a new wave, promo partner events within each wave. Much like Pokemon set releases... there is a buzz during release times then you let players digest (bond, trade, compete for LB) then towards the end there is a lull and anticipation for next wave... that is the cycle and hook... it's simple but effective.

With Beyond you can fill all the album slots and make bonding choices to increase the Illuvitar power. Higher power then higher leaderboard rank and rewards. There is some skill involved in making bonding smart choices.

Most of us really want a TCG style game to come with Beyond eventually (wether community made or Illuvium dev'd)

To go back a bit on the Beyond and OW .. do you guys really compare the 2? How long has Beyond been around and how long OW access to public? If my 3 h a run in OW is valued as much as a drone opening of 3 sec....you def lost me slowly but surely. Only way this survives if drone is 5x more expensive .

It wouldn't be so bad if they just created a leaderboard like Beyond and distributed the illuvials we have so that we could get a point according to their statistics... This would be both an option for whales who cannot spare time for overworld and a sales opportunity for those who spend hours in overworld.

Countless combinations can be created, just like beyond... As you know, there is already an arena section for the overworld, there would be continuity (circulation) in both places...

Drone flights are the easiest way.. simple solution.. but what would be more valuable would be to create an infrastructure like Beyond.. I don't know, we will wait and see for Kieran's statements

It would have to be offset with the premise of choosing your illuvials from a pool of x amount on the map or pack opening being only x chances given per pack so you get abundantly more choice with a full run

Well the reality is that even if you only use Metamask’s swap tool metamask will still only be able to use the pools for sILV2 that actually exist. And the pool that was created on uniswap has been the most significant pool and likely the only pool for most of the times that you would have swapped. So now if there’s no sILV2 liquidity pool then Metamask has no way to find you a swap.

They messed up, the status of the Iluvias changed within the gamer. I have Iluvias that on the website are with, for example, max life. When the game arrives, life goes to 30 and the attack speed, which was 30, becomes 50.

Just my 2 cents here, game development is not easy, most of the times even if you test a lot locally or even in staging environments, once you deploy you get to see lots of bugs, the key is if they are fixing them consistently, lets see if that happens.

What if that's not a bug, but a "in progress" feature. It seems that the stats displayed in game are not following a constant rule (for example stat value for AD does not always correspond to the same stat on the Illuvidex).
So what I'm thinking about is, that they are maybe implementing a mechanic where you still can check the overall quality of an Illuvial (keep in mind that they wanted to remove that), but you are not sure which stat is which.

Partially I would agree. You probably find yourself catching some Illuvials that are just 3x +50%. Say it's a bulwark, you would prefer to know if those are HP, Res and AS or maybe AD, OP and MS. So that is quite important.
