Hello my friend, Keiran. Last Friday, as usual, I was playing Illuvium. In the evening, I needed to take my car to the car wash. I left the game open, and when I returned home an hour later, I found that it had crashed out of Overworld, with errors displayed on the right side of the screen. Since then, I’ve been seeing this issue whenever I try to log into Illuvium. I can’t play in the Arena, Gauntlet, or Overworld. I can’t prepare for tournaments, and last Saturday I already missed a mini-tournament because of this.

I created two support tickets, but it’s been a week, and no one has contacted me. Why am I, an honest player who has been among the top players since the open beta in April, now suffering and losing money? What are the reasons for this? I’m asking you to help and investigate.

Hi all I wanted to get your take on something that’s been puzzling me. I follow a lot of industry influencers and analysts on Web3 gaming — I just watched an interview with Raoul Pal and Piers Kicks from Delphi Digital big venture captial team. They discussed gaming ecosystems, true ownership, and the broader vision for blockchain in gaming, yet not a single mention of Illuvium. I’ve noticed this with other voices as well, like Hustle from Banter and several other prominent influencers. Illuvium hardly ever seems to come up.

What I find odd is that Illuvium, to me, seems like the perfect example of what Web3 gaming can achieve, even setting aside its gameplay and graphics. The platform is pushing forward with things like interoperability, trading, disc ecosystems, and a true ownership model. It’s building a complex, integrated world that feels like a breakthrough for blockchain gaming. Yet these influencers consistently focus on other projects, like Ronin, Sky Mavis, and Axie Infinity, Uga Labs etc.

In the interview, Piers Kicks went as far as to call Sky Mavis and Ronin the most polished Web3 gaming project out there. He was also asked what games he finds exciting, and it was mostly titles with what I’d describe as very basic graphics or casual gameplay. I just cant believe that Illuvium wasn’t even mentioned at all considering the size of the team the revenue model and we have had plenty of money spent in game already.. Given the comprehensive ecosystem Illuvium is building, I just can’t see why it wouldn’t be more prominent in these discussions.

So, my question is — am I missing something here? Have these other games achieved something that makes them more significant in the eyes of these influencers, or is there some other reason why Illuvium isn’t being recognized as a leader in this space? For some time I am experiencing it. same pc, while playing ilv and watching some youtube video on the other monitor, it is working flawless, for 5-10-15 hours whatever. and sometimes all of a sudden, my gpu fan stops and ilv fps drops to 2-3 and pc is frozen even while opening a single youtube page. and randomly, seriously randomly it starts working again and it is fast again. I mean randomly for example while sleeping since I dont shut down the pc.

if talking about the future, this game will surely be great, imo. only question is how fast they'll be able to fix bugs and release the updates. there are 4 games here, illuvium zero, arena, overworld and beyond. i am only familiar with the Overworld, and a bit idea on Arena.. Arena is where you can fight other players using your illuvials.. overworld is the place where you get to catch illuvials or level up your illuvials.. with regard to income/earnings, ill be honest, you cant get much atm. unless you are very lucky and you are able to catch very rare illuvials, (dark holos or those with perfect stats) .. best thing to do is try to play the game and dont expect any income yet.
