No, cause I'm not on Discord all the time. I go to the website that they control, and read the info there, and play the game, chasing the incentives they have live on their website. What your asking me is like, You go into a store, pay $20 for a meal, then 3 weeks later I charge you $100 and when you complain, I say, didn't you check the placard across the street with the fine print that says we actually 5x the cost long after you've eaten the food? That is criminal and total BS.

Sorry for the long post, somethings I would like to address from the Dev Blog

August Dev blog released on 26th of September: It talks for itself.

"People outside can criticise as much as they want, but criticising the work ethic of the team is not fair". I'm still of the opinion that if I bought a land plus 3 workers and cannot access such land (as many other players) AND the team has not in anyway communicated they are aware and/or working on it THEN I can say IN MY OPNION is a blatant lack of work ethics and for me is VERY fair this conclusion because if I would be unfair and say what I really wanna say I bet they would take me away.

Finally we agree on something, and as you can see by my prior messages here I used the exact same word 'catastrophic' before and is a good way to define the launch.

The team overworking: funds are in since 2021; I've seen the australian mentioning more than once that there was soooo much funds they could actually scrap Illuvium and build another game if they want to. And now you come with the overworked BS? No no no if you hired badly it is not our fault, if you are all overworked it is your own fault and should not be used as an excuse.

"Many of us on the team are perfectionists": early on anyone's business life you are taught never to say one of your weakness is being a perfectionist, it just sounds pathetic.

Bottomline is, when you set out to build things where other people have to invest in it you have the obligation to make it work, and I'm not talking about the game being profitable or the economy sound, just simply THINGS NEED TO WORK no matter what or you need to clearly communicate it. @near pier while I was playing splinterlands I was reading notes of the town hall because there was a person summarizing it. that was one and only game I was doing that. and it helps people to adopt the game. with 2-4 hours of videos nobody wants to watch it. I did it for 3 years and I am surprised how I did it every 1-2 weeks.

actually, I wasn’t able to calculate as accurately as in previous seasons. In the past three seasons, I predicted everything correctly with a 10% margin of error, but I couldn’t focus much this season because I thought new missions would be added to the milestones, so I didn’t play much. However, I talked with two friends and did some analysis, and I estimate that 1 ILV will be equivalent to a maximum of 7-8k points. It seems unlikely for it to go above 10k

im eagerly waiting for season 3. if there are more enticing missions, it will make for a more exciting season

Honestly, I was a bit mistaken. The team had mentioned that they were working on the missions and that Season 2 didn’t go well. I expected different missions for Season 2. I thought that when 100k missions came in, the 2000-3000 point missions would be unnecessary, which is why I couldn’t focus much on the daily missions. However, if everything had been clear and definite since the beginning of Season 2, it probably would have been much better.

As for Season 1, I think it was satisfying. Unfortunately, bot accounts increased with the videos published on platforms like YouTube showing how to pass Wave 40. Similarly, bot accounts were able to gain more points by completing T0 suits, which was exploitation since they could earn points without costs and with dozens or hundreds of accounts. The team worked on this and directly prevented bot accounts. After the banning of bot accounts, I think a quite good ratio emerged, and based on my estimates, they will give 1 ILV for 80-90k points.

and there's this absurdity: some pirates are struggling a lot in battles. With the new update, they introduced the option to change pirates, which requires spending a few hundred dollars. Despite not spending money, I haven't been able to progress. If it were a normal web2 game, it would have been better. Most players are playing for the airdrop, but according to the accounts players are making, 20k points will equal 1 token. If someone has been playing for 3 months and collected 10 million points, that's only $100.
When I could earn that in an hour by joining the gauntlet in Illuvium, it's ridiculous to play that game madly every day for 3 months.
