I don't know if it's just because I am unlucky but damn I can never find resplendent shards and barely any epic. In stage 3 runs it seems I always get uncommon shards from green rocks😢.

It wouldn't be that big a deal but I use up to 3 resplendent shards to catch a tier 5, stage 1 illuvial.

Stage 1 and 2 seem good value but I think stage 3 needs a buff.

Play a fun game. See that you can get a bit further if you have some of your own cards.

Collect free cards (tier 0)

Play more and get further.

I wouldn't say not worth, it depends what dropped in your run. If you have no good stat illuvials, you have to decide what to do.
rather farme ores and consumeables or catch the bad stat illuvials or whatever else there could be 🙂

you explore everything and then you have to fight to see the stats

so a good idea on your first run would be to find all the illuvials on the map

and then fight them by rarity first

to avoid running out of energy
