That's called selective memory. And the pain of not capturing an illuvial with 80%+ chance is greater than the happiness of caughting one with 20% chance. So, in pratice, u ended up forgetting more about ur sucesses capturing, than ur failed tries.

I still think the games shouldn't be linked together unless the player wants it. There needs to be the option to play each game as a standalone game. Basically have a lot more stuff to do in Overworld, etc..Crafting, building, multiplayer, etc.. The more the better. I've been playing V Rising. Its a pretty good survival game. I think a lot of those types of elements would benefit Overworld. Give us some npcs to kill to gather loot, not just Illuvials. Another idea that i think would put this game over the top would be to make it more like the game SPORE where you mix and match body parts to create your own Illuvial that can be levelled up with a skill tree, etc.. and then have the option to mint it as an nft.

Just throwing it out there more of a mind dump than anything, its important to bare in mind:
3+ games are being simultaneously worked on
we are still in beta phase
Airdrop points, minting issues, beyond issues ect will get sorted one way or another
things always take more time than expected
integrating all of the necessary mechanisms into crypto is beyond a mammoth task
The product is the best in the space that we have ever seen - it will only get better
I know there are dedicated gamers and players but sitting out on the sidelines for a while isnt a bad thing until all is resolved (perhaps a good chance to pick up some land?)

I really like the professionalism of this team and project, its getting a rep for delivering (even if there are side issues that need solving)
the core community are great - im looking forward to where this is all going to be in a few months time

My own interest is important to me. When you leave the flight to stage 3, I enter battles with tier 5 and constantly leave there simply because. 1 out of +-20 illuvials is normal, which is not a pity to take.
But tier 5 itself is not often encountered. This is a large expenditure of personal time. In the current phase of the game, when there is uncertainty in the crypto market and it is not clear what will happen next in the game, what the dynamics will be, there is a desire to get out.

It would be better to have another stage of the game in open beta than the current situation.

The start of Season 2 has been different from what we all would have wanted. A process that we had for making the announced changes to Season 2 failed. As a direct result the milestones were not updated as we expected them to do because it happened over a weekend, we took a little longer to notice than we normally would. This meant that we needed to go and make some adjustments to our tooling to ensure we can correct the failed process, which is where we are today. At the time of writing, these changes are being tested and Season 2 will be corrected as per the original plan. There will be no mid-season changes when we release these updates, which are in line with IIP-58 and ICCP-19 (preventing mid-season updates and the survival wave points adjustment). Our reasoning behind setting milestones to 0 points (for those that have not been completed already) is to disincentivise bot makers and some genuine players from using multiple accounts to farm airdrop points. This also returns milestones to their original intention of being an achievement-like system where you can track your progress through the game.

You dont really need the stage 2s for s1, but they dont hurt points too much.
