The season end date + season 2 start date has been visible by hovering over the previous seasons info on the mission tab, since day 1 of the season. It can be indicated by a little (i) on the missions panel

As for the notification, something should be coming soon with some updated info… there was a few hiccups as far as I know, but you can read some planned patch info that rich pinned in here in the pinned messages

I can criticize what I want because as I said it's my opinion. A game should be fun but most of the crypto games have a very small community and the Devs are overestimating the games success. The game is really boring and most people who are supporting this have no clue about how games should actually look.
