My impression is that the illuvials spawn too frequently and too high levels....It should be way rarer to see a T5, let alone a T5 stage 2-3...if the illuvial scarcity were to be higher, I believe the game would be more addictive and bring more people tbh
And that way, a lot more fuel consumption
Getting a T5 should be a jackpot like experience

I think the 1000 energy will still be there to use, I don't think it's un-useable as such... just a very funky visual bug.

If you run into the problem again, try shooting at anything that would usually cost you fuel and see if the item still mints/harvests. I understand it's frustrating and not the ideal answer, but it'd be good for me to know if it's still functioning well or if it's broken completely

We use a system called abonding curve, where the more you capture a certain illuvial, the scarcer it becomes over time, and also the harder it'll become to capture with shards. Basically, being early gives you the best chance to see an illuvial, as well as capture it, until eventually nearer the end of a set, it'll be way harder to get most of them.
And then, a new set begins roughly every 12 months, and the old set can never be captured again

When you're in the overworld, the one you are chasing will be the rarest/highest tier illuvial in the encounter. So you won't need to check every fight for 'rarer' ones unless you want to see what other weaker ones are in there, if that makes sense

Yes, but not with just leveling. You have to have a certain amount of XP combined between the 3 you fuse for the next stage.

You can, yeah! There is a fusing station in Sanctum mesa where you can combine 3 illuvials. If all 3 of them add up to enough xp in total, you can use an infused gem of the illuvials affinity to evolve it!

If there is less players in the airdrop, and you get more points than most, you get more ilv than most. It's just math how it is worked out.

Total amount of points, divided by each players portion in comparison to that pool of points. I would just suggest aiming to get as many points as you can, that's all you can really do to increase your allocation

Rank doesn't effect your airdrop, it's just the points you have in general. Rank is just there to show you your position in comparison to others so you can get an idea of how well you're performing. But you want to increase your points to increase your allocation, in it's simplest form 🙂

Yup, points will turn into ILV, and the rate it will convert will just depend on the total amount that is gathered by all players during the season.
Keep doing missions and milestone tasks to earn points, and you'll get some portion of the airdrop

30K will be given out each month after the season ends, and there will be a total of 6 seasons

This first one ends on September 1st, and a new one will start immediatly after it ends!

There is a free rotation of decks you can use without owning anything though, but if you wish to make your own team of illuvials, weapon and armour etc, you will need to own those assets.

Things have barely started ramping. Right now team are focused on solidifying game stability, thigns such as bugs or quality of life changes, and then the marketing will begin to be more highly focused on, Team liquid e-sports tournement etc etc.
We're just very early, and the team are focusing on some of the back end things to ensure everything is as smooth and polished as possible before we target the more core sectors we wan't to bring into illuviums IP.

that being said, there could be so many reasons numbers are down; when the bull market really starts ramping, that could also have a huge impact on people playing crypto games or even aware of the space etc.

TLDR, I don't have those answers, but exciting times are ahead, and I guess we'll see! ❤️

As long as you have 'lynx stage 1' 'stoic lynx stage 2' you can have all the other evolved stoic lynxes if you choose

Arcane floralynx is a tier 2
Atlas is a tier 1
Artace is a tier 3

So, to go over the tier + stage info we was discussing earlier, the notches are the TIER of the illuvial (think rarity, higher tier is a higher rarity of illuvial)
And the little 3 hexagon pattern, like the attached photo, is the evolution it is (this will either be 1, 2 or 3 - think pokemon evolution style)

There is a rare chance to come across larger, quartz rocks. They can come in all 3 colours like the other rocks you shoot, but they can only be extracted bny going up to them and holding E - you can get like 10 ores/gems/shards out of them, and the loot is genuinally rarer than the ones you shoot at.
They can't be found in stage 0 runs though I don't think

Costs the same energy per extract, as it does to shoot a rock (100 by default unless you have equipment that reduces harvest cost)
But the big ones can be harvested like 5-6 times instead of just once

This gold sysmbol shows the mastery points an illuvial costs to place down, it will also be the same instability cost it takes to attempt to capture one (your stability is your purple energy bar at the top of your screen during an encounter)
That bar gets lower and lower the more you put illuvials down + the strogner they are, bascially if you overpower a fight, you get less capture attempts. If you beat the fight by using less illuvials, you'll have more left so you can attempt to capture more times etc

2 million points was not a huge amount in pre-season 2 in comparison to some players, and also to pre-season 1. So it may well be true; also, season 2 was 10k. season 1 was 20k, so the rewards are halved to begin with, without taking into account the point requirement was more diluted by higher achievers

check ur hyper bar, that helps a lot and use consumables

If you lose the fight, it's gone. If it gets away while you are chasing it (before you go into a fight) you can find it again on the map somewhere.

So, it's a balancing act while you're fighting. You want to win the fight, but if you want more captures, it needs to be with as little iluvials as you can; or you can overpower it and secure a win, but with less stability left 😛
