That’s a different question. If the game is not being played then there’s no reason to provide any rewards, no way to award points.

But your question comes down to defining fair. Who is able to earn points? Those with lucky rolls for their missions I guess. Is rolling a die a fair way to determine a number between 1-6? It is random. So some could say that it is in fact fair.

Perhaps tomorrow will be someone else’s lucky day with missions they can do.
