every illuvial has a bonding curve, which means every minted one slightly lessens the oveall possibility of catching the next one till zero or end of season

or something like that, not sure about all details

This bonding curve has not been officially defined yet, so we don't know the details. We only know that the more Illuvials are captured, the harder it will be to capture subsequent ones, reaching a point of "probabilistic extinction."

The bonding curve doesn’t define the rarity specifically. It defines the rarity modifier.

The more you catch, the lower the weight of the illuvial. But remember this is relative. If all illuvials get caught in the same tier weighted ratios then the probabilities won’t change.

If one illuvial is really popular it will become much less common in the world.

Tier weighted ratios means that the weight drops faster for high tiers.

There is another part, which is capture difficulty. Over time illuvials increase in power meaning higher tier shards are required to get good capture odds.

Basically get in early and pamp your drones.

There is no maximum number. They are available for a certain time, then <redacted> will happen and they are no longer catchable.

Once that happens, whatever we’re at will be the number. We suspect a lot of standard finish, a few holos, and very few dark holos.

The question is, are the conditions the same for all players or are there legitimate players who receive more information and drops simply because the administration is more loyal to them?

I noticed how illuvials are bought up before updates, when updates are unknown from official sources. It looks like someone is leaking information about the update and other players are taking advantage of it, giving less-informed players the opportunity to make a bargain at the auction.
This is just one example that I noticed myself.

Other players noticed loyalty in the hunt, when those who won the illuvial in advance and waited until the conditions were called in order to catch it in a minute.

Still other players are dissatisfied with the loyalty drop, reporting a large contribution and receiving a disproportionately small drop. such players say that the administration could have taken part of the drop for themselves.

it is possible that these are just rumors, discrediting the administration, but I hear and see in their words disappointment due to the lack of transparency in payments, bewilderment due to regular changes.

but if it exists now, when there is no serious game for money yet, then I’m afraid to imagine what level of corruption and leaks of insiders there can be in the mainnet.

I, as a simple player, would just like to play on equal terms with other players, without the fear that my contribution to the game will be devalued by cheats, automation of the purchase of goods at auction a second after they are put up, or leaks of information for privileged players close to the administration .

I am sure that the majority of players want equal conditions. I'm just informing.

I hope that this is all slander and a coincidence, that other players in the top 10 received their points honestly and this was not related to information leaks or special treatment from the project administration

It's good practice to accompany accusations with some kind of proof. If you think something shady is happening, I take that seriously, but if you have examples or evidence you should definitely be including them. Without proof or evidence, you're not informing anyone, you're just casting aspersions and spreading misinformation.

I've heard other players have similar doubts, which makes sense in the crypto space. Shady behavior does exist in the crypto sphere. When I looked into those allegations for myself, there was no basis for those allegations. Specifically this was with regards to people suggesting that someone was frontrunning the last set of patch notes by buying master shards. It turned out to literally just be people parroting something that "they heard someone else say". That's how misinformation spreads when people aren't doing their homework.

My advice would be to provide evidence if you have concerns. It's a critical part of evaluating the truth of what you're saying. Strictly as an example, I would never accuse someone of trying to slander Illuvium to, for example, try and draw players away to another web3 game, or because they had shorted the ILV token, unless I had proof of that. It's easy to throw around allegations, but it doesn't mean anything unless it's grounded in reality. Facts trump feelings, all day, every day.

Here, I agree with @gleaming mist . Today, I listed my lands for sale. IMMEDIATELY, I received orders to buy them. This is most often done by two bots: BraveAlphi#0049 and Banshee.

About six months ago, I wrote to support asking if bots could be used for the marketplace. Support replied that it was not allowed and sent me a section of the rules.

But then why have these bots existed for so long? Either the problem is being ignored (I have noticed these bots for about a year, if not longer), or they belong to some "untouchable" players.
