First of all, I was going to recommend Master Shard, which is at least 10 times more expensive, but someone beat me to it.
Bravo Bravo Team, this will make it much more difficult to catch everything!

Unfortunately, there are flaws in beta testing with these decisions!!!

1.New players will never catch up with old players in points!
2. Old players who have chosen a different development strategy than just catching everything as it comes are also seriously damaged.

I'd probably wouldn't sweat about this testnet airdrop, it's definitely biased for early players, which is fair since they have been here longer. However the reward is not that much in the bigger picture. The important thing is to learn the game and mechanism so you are ready for the real thing once it's released on the mainnet. That's where 86% of the rewards are and fair for everyone.

It's a game of chance. It will always be that way for a creature capturer.

If holo and Dark holo were available from day one someone who played 300 hours vs someone who played 100 hours (assuming same skill level) would on average have 3x more points than the other. Meaning, over the next month you will still end up with more points than others if you are grinding harder.

The airdrop is based on what is in your personal wallet on the snapshot date. So yes, buying will count if you hold the asset at the end of the airdrop date.

The only thing that can't be brought is the illuvials for the Hunt; they must be captured directly
