Like going into a comic shop, taking a look, choosing the type of trading cards and hoping to find what you dream of, choosing something, having the possibility of...
This should be: the choice of the land to visit, the level of the land, the fight with the illuvial and then, if this is won, the hope of finding something you are looking for, of throwing yourself into the unknown. With these latest updates the unknown and the desire to dive disappears, because in the first it is the illuvial we fought, in the other it is the first 3 (if we are in tier 3) of the list of illuvials we encounter!! In my opinion, and this is what I would like, there should be much more randomness, I would like to see all the illuvials that I encounter discovered and then one by one those that I can then capture light up, always at random, without having a certain number, without having a certain sequence (so not always 3 and not always the first 3, but see them all first and then see which ones I can capture, whether they are 1 or all). Sorry for the length and excuse my English😂😄 I've been here for almost 3 years and I strongly believe in everything that is being built!! 😍😎

Bonding curve should just affect which illuvials appear as capturable until less caught illuvials catch up and the ratios balance out. There is honestly no need to add failure chance to using shards. Just make it so you need a t3 to catch a t3, t4 for t4. And hell maybe master shard for legendary illuvials. There’s already enough pain from perfect iv farming, multiple catches needed to fuse and not to mention if it hasn’t changed from the original proposal long ago i believe 27 s1’s to holo and 81 to dark holo? So 81 perfect iv s1’s to perfect dark holo. That’s a lot of money spent without even needing to imagine failure rates.

Flat rates are always pointless.

Airdrop farmers will always look for the best way to maximize. If that is just time they will just make sure to log on and keep the game running and earn points while doing something else.

Illuvium needs to make the important stuff valuable to drive gamers to play the game a specific way. And they might need to do that several times to test out differnt systems and mechanic's.

It was clear that we were not playing the game the intended way (using mastershards for everything is one example)

So they need to change the incentives.

I think that is pretty obvious.

Early adopters get an advantage. Thats how it is in everything. You are here now so when it goes live you will be ahead of everyone else who joins late.

I think the team could have communicated it more clearly that they would most likely change parameters through out the beta, but I think that is a given since it is a beta
