i guess we are already in a good place with mechanics illuvium has now, there always can be additional sinks introduced.

You also have those guys who lose wallet keys, don't play anymore but also don't list them etc. so you will also have x amount illuvials getting lost. (even it's not many i guess, but still)

Illuvials are on a bonding curve, the more that are capture the harder it is for them to appear next. Also after each season ends you will not be able to catch more of those illuvials.....fusing is also a burning mechanic of lower stage illuvials
