Imo it's pretty good, hunting is already well done and helped a Lot to improve OW. I can imagine it is gona be sticky when you can Start collecting for real.

Depends... If you wana go Hardcore, focus on mining im the beginning and ignore the catching . Ranger gear (Boots, jetpack and visor) helps a Lot to Fasten your Runs and also to Hunt the illuvials, drone Equipment helps a Lot aswell...
