There is value in both types of creators as they achieve different objectives.

there is no weekly reset, there are weekly snapshots of peoples ranks, the rating system is glicko one I think, matchmaking pairs with equal mmr, the longer the wait time the bigger the difference it accepts as opponents

just sharing my 2 cents .... been playing arena for 3 months now and avoided overworld as all the progress wil reset on next update ... just played a bit of overworld just to see how it feels and even now with almost no interactions and just pure runinig and searching for portals to get illuvials was super fun and cathing the first one was exciting ... i can only imagine how it will be once it goes play to own + all the new interactions within the game ... super excited and i can already see myself grinding it for hours
