Imagine a survival game mode where your base becomes your home base for illuvium in general.
Some materials are there yet most come from resource- overworld mode and zero, dyes ect.
You have to keep going back to upkeep.
Maybe having a home base gives you some buff in other areas.
Would be cool if you could import materials and use crafting stations to make stuff.

For the illuvium devs. Should really look into Palworld. I know it's a different game, but they are doing something right. Very popular right now.
I see trailers for Palworld, and it instantly looks like a lot of fun (and I have a lot of my friends playing it and asking me to join). Illuvium Overworld on the other hand feels barron and like a shell of an open world in comparison. Impossible with all the animations required. As they made it super high graphics anything additional would require significant work. That is the path they have chosen. Imagine the animations etc required to shoot something, how it responds, etc... and that for all characters

The goal wasn't to develop a survival game like an Ark or Palworld.

We can have multiplayer & open world Illuvials much like Palworld, however we will also have deep progression systems that evolve over months and years with Seasonal content and Events.

As an MMORPG player, I'm drawn to playing a character for months or years rather than temporary play-throughs that reset progress every couple of weeks like Ark and what have you.

It's personal preference but I think Pokémon fans would prefer long-term character progression and team building.

I have been promoting and asking ffor illuvials in the open world FOR LAUNCH for over a year now. The only reasons I get for why its NOT done by the team is that its "Not a Goal ATM". Well it should be the #1 Goal PERIOD. Specially after seeing the HUGE success Palwords is having right now.
