I'd say: The amount of things they all are building at once and the imbalance of the game made for little engaging content to play. some were done with catching most of the illuvials in like 3 weeks. The land plots were basically finished after 2 weeks on T4 lands and the Arena is rather shallow in the survival mode.

It's obviously still getting there, and expansions will make it more immersive and larger, but I had hoped to be able to play for a few months and still not have scratched the surface 😄 (Imagine thinking that after only 1 year of building... yep i had no clue what making a game entailed)
With the current amount of community members, there is also not a really big amount of competition. so sharing strats and getting on the leaderboard has little meaning and is limited in number.
(Can't wait for the PVP where this actually will start to bloom)
