how can I view my current score and rank within the game client?

how do I confirm that my Illuvial catches are successfully counting towards the weekly points total, ensuring I am following the correct qualification steps?

do I only get the points if I perform the mission 1000 times?

In the current Overworld Bounty Leaderboard, you can only see your current score once you enter the top 100, so keep on catching

As Dexter said, Hunting all illuvials will give points towards your weekly ranking, but the ones on the weekly bounty will give you 4x points (also extra points for Holo + Dark holo catches)
And no, you don't need to do the mission 1000 times. Each individual illuvial capture provides points; depending on the stage and tier of the illuvial. Rarer ones are worth more (see Dexters image he sent for the exact amounts)

As for where you can track your progress, you can do this by going to the overworld leaderboard located here - https://illuvidex.illuvium.io/leaderboard/overworld-bounty?_gl=1*1pcwmrq*_gcl_au*MTI1NTAwMTExOC4xNzUzNzI2OTA5

Sadly, you can't see your rank unless you are in the top 100 - but if you do an Automated drone run, and click 'bounty leaderboard' at the end of that run, it may show you your rank if you are below 100. However, you can keep hunting and be safe in the knowledge that your illuvial captures are counting for points!

Is there any plan to implement time limited discounts for fusing costs?

not that i'm aware of.
From what i k now, fusing cost got implemented so people don't gamble perfect stat fuses as much as they did before. (probably need to be increased even more looking at the sales page :D)
On the other hand stage 2/3 spawn rates got increase, so people can catch them now more often.

Doing fusing cost decrease events would kinda destroy the whole purpose cost got increased

ow needs to be improved, it's unplayable like this. Every time you press "M" to view the map the game closes, as does pressing "I" to change teams. This isn't possible. Also, the battle often wins and you're kicked out as if you lost.

Usually the client does not close, but it has an increasing loading time depending on the amount of Illuvials you own.
A workarround could be to create a 2nd account acting like a "bank" and mass transfer illuvials here and there to that "bank account"

For the battle problematic:
It can show you a different outcome than it actually is.
So when it appears that you have won but you get kicked out as if you lost, it is because you actually lost.
Increasing the strength of your team and/or positioning well can help you avoid that situation.

There a fix for that, if you can't start the game when in the encounter, it's because the code is not properly collecting Equipements.

How to fix it:
Return to main menu and relaunch the game might take 1-3 attemps sometime but it's fixing the issue.

If you get one of those 40X errors, make sure to return to main menu and jump back into OW, it reloads your weapons and armor and you should be good to go.

Having an issue trying to make a Skin in Overworld. I have an Arcane Floralynx Blueprint for a Mozart Drone and Shell Suit from my work in Zero. However, they are not showing up as usable even though I own them in my profile's wallet (shown in the website on right). Am I doing something wrong?

You can't make skins out of the lynxes. When I asked when they would be available I was told that they are not high priority right now.

It seems that it's because I have a lot of items, but is there any way to fix this? It's really annoying to have to wait 30 seconds for the damn map to open.

It's a very annoying problem, I think the way the game processes it should load the map separately from the inventory

Just lost 2 out of 4 fights in this S3 run that I am in, that I was not even remotely close to loosing, also buffed to make sure to win... I had the "bug" plenty of times before, but not like this. (6 of the 8 are lvl 50+)... will have to see a few more fights but this feels pretty bad. 🙁
(luckily one of the fights I did win was with a holo Pho wiht decent stats)

There are more Illuvials of higher levels in stage 3, the fights are also quite a lot harder. (there are more enemies and they have more buffs).
you get more XP pr. fights.
there are higher level resources (shards)

Yes, it loads all your assets when opening the inventory or the map.
The more assets you have, the longer the loading time.

A workarround is that you create a 2nd account and use it as kind of like a bank-account and transfer all assets you don't need into that account.

i actually lost 3 fights in that run i thought i would win easely 😄
I haven't really checked why tho, since i was playing pretty much brain dead with having jotun and sear in and leveling max stat illuvials.
Feels like s3 became a bit harder to play with this patch... might need 3 maxed illuvials now to be able to farm braindead
Weird thing is i carry with behemoths and those actually got buffed

but the thing is, I think only one or maybe two of the Illuvials died in those 2 fights. so wasn't even close. which is sometimes the case when you "Loose while it looks like you are winning" ... anyway, I am just glad I didnt loose the one with the Holo Pho 🙂

i feel you can't give too much on the outcome.
Especially if you run with healers, but also when for example your carry gets low hp, survives and then stomps all the enemies, that carry might have died and you got stomped in the backend.

But ya, at least lucky you got the good stat illuvial... i wasn't that lucky 😄

only thing working for me reliably is sacrifice 2 spots (now maybe 3) with op stat max lvl carries to run safely. and not have a full team of illuvials you want to level up.

I'm afraid the conversion rate after the unified fuel update was correct. A lot of people lost a lot of fuel

But it was known a long time before, and there was a big window where you could request a refund if you wasn't happy. Seems you have returned long after the unfied fuel update though, so sadly not much can be done

It was also very needed, as the economy was pretty rough before the change. Just a bit crap for those who had a ton of fuel before-hand (myself included, I lost a lot of value from my fuel 🙁 )

Ok, just to get this straight.

• You hunted down the doka and the bubble white bubble popped
• Then you entered the encounter and placed your illuvials
• Then you hit "start" to start the fight and won
• Now you are standing in front of the Doka and when you click on him, there is no shard menu popping up like you see below in the screenshot

you should see those shard fragments on the very left, the white ones
And then you should drag and drop them onto the doka

Hit "B" on your keyboard and contact support with a bug report.
Add the screenshot (Take a screenshot) in the bug reporter
And mention you are in the tutorial and stuck in the doka encounter
They should be able to help you out.

Crashes are pretty rare by themselves atm. A lot better than it used to be - if you are getting them very frequently, check all your hardware is up to date.

Hey, I wanted to upgrade my Phase Compactor to Stage 3 and just noticed that the Stage 1 Compactor is included in the resources needed to forge it. Was it always like this? Also, by looking at other drone chips I would guess that the Stage 2 Compactor should be there.

Never seen this bug before...
I was trying to capture an Ace with a Epic shard (99.5% chance)... The client animation said I failed, and when I tried to capture again (had more energy). It gave me an Internal error, and I had no other option than to close the game and log in again. but now the Ace was gone, and turned out it had been captured.
It looked like a "desync" between the game client and backend... but I have never seen this happen with a capture before 🤔
logged a bug report... but was wondering if anyone ever come across this before 🤗

Btw, the Ace was decent... so cant complain that it got captured when It first showed it failed 😄

I would have assumed the rewards from last week, didn't have the vesting effecting it, and it's only going forward from this reset that it would be vesting...

Yup, those are 100% unlocked by the looks of it! So you won't need to wait for those to vest.
I believe every reward from now on will have the vesting effecting it though

You will get the full 1.5 ILV when you claim that one, if I'm not mistaken

Going forward, if you claim immediatly, it'll be 50% of the reward until it's vested, unless you choose Fuel

I played an other game where if you pked someone you had to finish a quest (sin eater) to get rid of pk “points”.
If someone killed you while you were PK you could drop none, one or multiple items you had on your char or in inventory. Was fun 🙃

Same! I played with the same group of people for about 6–8 years.
Once one of us got banned, we all moved to another server. 😅
We even had our own server for a short time.
I was the event GM, the ban hammer, and the one restarting the server all the time…
It was probably the best game I’ve ever played (mostly because of our team 🙂).

no, no delays I believe, just issue that we had from the very start of the game, mostly affecting users with VPNs etc, shard, blueprint etc must be burned on the blockchain, but this is not happening in time, then game cannot mint the illuvial and waiting, then mint fails, devs reset, and next attempt to burn shard and illuvial is minted

Difference level is 4 Level [44-40 =4]
Difference Health is 580 [2797-2217=580]

How to fix it: Log out to "Main menu" 1-2-3 times should fix it.
This ussie occuring then the weapon or suite liste if is not properly loaded ingame. If you don't see you weapon or suit you will get the error.

If there is a problem with the game you can always submit a bug report by pushing B in game. Support will then contact you.

The tutorial is unfortunately suffering a small bug in the battle against the Doka unfortunately.
If you are stuck there, you should create a ticket ingame with hitting "B" on your Keyboard.
This opens up a bug reporter where you can input a short description that you are stuck in the doka battle in the tutorial and add a screenshot.
The team can then reset your tutorial and you then can skip the tutorial when you login again.

A common error that's been occurring and has occurred recently is >>> Code: 403 Forbidden<<<< After the battle against the Ilv, it doesn't load to the capture selection section.

Are there criteria besides opening packs for the overworld rewards?
I did few drone runs yst, got a rhamphyre, supposedly 4k points from yst UI, but my acc isn´t in the week 17 top 100 list on rich´s website when I check/nothing in rewards tab.

The only criteria i know of is find the selected illuvials either in OW or drone runs in the alloted time, and your good. The data on Rich's site for OW weekly bounty hunt is around 7 weeks out of date, last time i checked anyway. Doesn't look like rewards have been distributed yet, hopefully tomorrow 🤞.

I've also been having this problem for almost 4 days and I've made several reports... I'm waiting for a solution to the problem that isn't affecting everyone from what I see, but a certain group of players.

Are the items in the queue or in the failed?

If it is in the failed, you'll have to wait for them to refresh it. Those failed processing gave me forbidden error for months.

If it is in the queue, you'll have to wait for them to mint before making an overworld run because it will keep stacking in the queue. I keep on restarting the game, stand for a minute, and let the drone name apper in the right side. It will mint a batch of 1-3 items.

That's exactly what I did... I waited for the queue to clear and re-entered the world to hunt for ILVs. Now they're no longer accumulating, but the 403 error still occurs.

The ones that were "processed" and failed are still there, with over 50 failed items.

Tried logging out to main menu and logging back in about 20 times. Doesn't work.
Tried escaping battle and entering another one. Same issue encountered.
Seems only solution is to exit region to sanctum mesa.

I myself go back to main menu whenever i did a change to the team, log into OW again and then Check my whole team if all changes got saved.
Usually when i change an illuvial for example and don't relog but jump immediately into the next run, it didn't save the change.

Not weird, you just maybe dont understand what it takes to keep serious gamers entertained... the reason people hated OW was because they caught a bunch of illuvials, and then had nothing to do. The MMO needs to have all the levels and bosses that need to be defeated, and then a mode where we can battle each other 5v5 or raids type thing where our illuvials matter. That will buy them time to build out the next phase as Linky mentioned.

@fervent topaz imagine teams build bases that can be raided and you need to leave your illuvials there to defend it, what do you choose and why? And imagine the illuvials you need to have to raid a base, you might have to sacrifice a titanor to break a wall, then what do you use? Exciting to think about really 🙂

I have a job that requires me to be self-motivated and seeing the results of that motivation takes 1+ years. So yes, my brain has been trained in a different way than today's average gamer who requires constant stimulation and a more instant reward.

Even the old style games were less constantly rewarding than today's games.

We as a society have a dopamine addiction that is quite problematic but that is a different discussion.

As a former FF14 player I can say with confidence that this statement isn't entirely true. A considerable portion of that community would just hang out with friends. MMOs aren't just content driven, they're socially driven too

I have a bomb ass idea for a 5v5 moba/king of the hill kind of a game/mode or a WoW battlegrounds mode for the MMO, that will use the combat and progress we made building the MMO + our illuvials. In my opinion it's a much better route to take than a full blown MMO. If people are interested I can submit it

That's true, but it's still true that MMOs require pumping out new content all the time. That is one of the reasons blizzard time locks and gates new raids, one at a time, with 5 different difficulties. So they can milk each to it's maximum. If it's a problem for them with unlimited resources, dev work and already an established playerbase, it would be a problem for us as well

When players create their own experiences between updates, it eases the pressure on devs to constantly churn out new content. The best MMOs keep the world alive with evergreen social features. Swinging swords at new bosses is important but there's so much more going on in an MMO besides that

I agree but I think your examples apply mostly for MMOs with already established IP and playerbase and people chill for fun based on memories and nostalgia. Not all MMOs have this perk.

We can take Amazon's New World. Took them 5 years to develop, 200m+ budget, supposedly 10 million copies sold. Few years later they have 15k active players even after an expansion. It's my favorite genre by far but it's quite tricky to nail and lately there has been zero good new MMOs
