I don't actually know the UI that well, not sure what it's supposed to be displaying 🙂 but if it's different than what you'd expect from other fusions, wouldn't hurt to report it. Someone who knows these things better can confirm whether it's a bug or not. But if it is, it's probably just in the UI; the actual data should be correct, which you can confirm once the token is minted

Are you guys finding with Stage 3 runs you're still able to break even on average? With the new capture rates it seems much harder to be consistent, cause one or two missed epic/resplendant shard captures and you're immediately in the hole

Yes it's a known bug. Sign out of the game then sign back in and the missing illuvials should be minting when you check them in your inventory

If I go to a tier 1 location do I basically start over with new equipment or does everything I have at tier 0 still work? Can I essentially keep going what I I have and will the Illuvials be able to be upgrade to a tier one or are they permanently at that level since it is the free to play version?

Example, 65% chance of capturing a Tier = your Shard. The more it is captured, the more the rate decreases. It is currently at 63%

not exactly - the spawn chance never goes entirely to 0 (until the next wave comes out and ones from earlier waves are retired), so they still have a chance to spawn regardless. It's just they're proportionally less likely than the ones that haven't been captured as much

yep, although the curve is steeper for higher tiers. So it's more like evening out the populations within a specific tier/stage. And it's also still affected by the region affinities - you're not suddenly gonna start seeing a lot of Rhamphyres in Taiga Boreal or something.
The spawn algorithms are actually hugely complicated. There are a lot of factors that go into it, and the bonding curve is just one of them

you can filter on illuvidex for rhamphyre and also click the "for sale" filter. So you actually lock for not on sale, and then start counting. Then you can add the amount which are on sale.
There's likely also a way to do it via apy or onchain data, but i'm sadly not very well versed in that and can't help you there.

What if people can play f2p and capture non-nft illuvials? People are able to farm both hearthstone, LoL and many other games and there are still people who preffer to not spend the time to grind it out.

yeah, that's because of the way we handle the battles - we actually run it twice, for various reasons. So a small discrepancy wouldn't matter for a curb-stomp battle, but it might affect the outcome of a close one. The trouble is figuring out what that discrepancy is. Providing as much info on these battles as possible would be super helpful, would make it a lot easier for us to reproduce the issue in our test environment

don't need to get into all the details, but it's basically a verification system, making sure the client and server agree on the outcome to prevent cheating and such. It's more of a factor for Arena, but obviously we use the same system for the OW battles. So there's still some as-yet-unidentified difference - the client thinks you won the battle, but then the server comes back and says you didn't.

well, if you're savvy enough to use a tool like Fiddler to capture HTTP traffic, that would be gold. but otherwise yeah, having screenshots and data on all the units would tell us a lot. Unfortunately a lot of that data is ephemeral, otherwise our DB costs would be through the roof. So there's really no way to look it up after the fact

Restarting the game helps because there's an issue with IMX and Unreal, and it gets the game into a bad state where it can't burn anything. Restarting the game fixes the state and retries the burns.

How about a fix so the Illuvial's traits shown in the hexagon are at the same spot in Overworld and in the marketplace/inventory. Having them shown differently is just annoying and completely non-sensical.

In the mission dashboard, list all the Overworld XP missions in the correct order. Having 1M before 100K isnt right. Use a different sorting algorithm that sort numbers correctly.

I was just wondering, if it's not much trouble, would you be able to explain the process fusing has in it's simplest form, in regards to how the stats are finalised on the evolution? Does it take a rough estimate of the stats on all 3 illuvials, and spit out an average mix, or does it take more to a weighted section if all 3 illuvials share those modifiers etc?

Had a few people really curious on this, and thought it'd be great to have a reference point I could give if asked in future.

Firstly, you will need to forge the skin you want to use from the forge in Sanctum mesa.
Once you've forged it, you'll notice the skin name will include an armour type somewhere in the name of it. For example, my one is called Tatopee shell suit skin. This means it can only be applied to a 'shell' type of armour.

Once you've figured out which armour it goes on, you'll need to craft an armour suit for it to be placed on (you can just craft a tier1 suit, it will be applied to your ranger like the overworld weapon currently is, in this screen

Once you've equipped the armour there, hover over it and click X
That will bring up a customise screen, which shows all your forged skins (remember, you need to fore the skin before you can apply it) and then you can choose from that screen and press 'Change' to apply it.
You can also 'reset' it at anytime to wipe the armour clean + apply a new one etc

there is always a set amount of illuvials. there are no infinite illuvials on a map. There spawn say 50 on a map, if you fight all the illuvials, at some point 0 are left on there. You can't just remove all the ugly ones and more good ones show up. There may be 3, then if you scare everything except the 3 away, only those 3 are left.

Takes a little while to mint sometimes (if IMX is busy, like Saturday afternoon (Today)). Go do a run and come back to check again.

Although, sometime there is a rare bug where items get stuck. The team is monitoring for this and minting them manually. So takes a bit when this happens..
