man came in here to share my catch and all i see is people complaining lol. If you arnt having fun and just farming airdrop you are in for a hell of a time. IF you are putting in the hrs you will also run into these. Ive spent many hrs and this is my first t5s3 and happens to be a holo.. No system everyone will be happy in, especially for those here just to farm airdrop and they arnt here to cater to you

He is still ahead i get that, but he will be massively diluted. Here are some numbers and estimates to illustrate the point for u: lets say there are 20k players. For maybe the first 2 weeks, he was top 100, top 100 on average was on the trajectory to get around 30 ILV+ ish. Points per average player was very low, points for top players very high. This scaled, making his allocation of the 30k ILV way higher. With the update, the average point for all other players gets way higher, making him massively diluted. So he ends up with maybe 5-6 ILV for being top 100. A massive reduction

People that have been grinding all private betas and where top 100 for the last 2 weeks.. are some of the best players in the game and the ones that love the game the most, and are most likely also being the most important customers for the main game. If you lose these players., well its not good for the game in my opinion.

After that it was impossible for newcomers to grind and try and get a nice spot on the leaderboard. I love the game and update, cudos to the team, enjoy the game a lot more now 🙂 I have given a ton of feedback, both bug reports and ideas over that time, helping improve the game. On the airdop campaign though, the dark holo points especially but also the holo points is causing so much dilution for existing top players. Just seing a person post a picture of a Dark holo Lynx (which to be fair is not that rare even) 125k points, and thinking, ahh, there was maybe 50+ hours of catching, levelling and grinding 4 full sets of T5 illuvials;

=> I can tell you it works pretty well with the normal shards as well. Always keep 1-2 Mastershards (I need about 1h to farm one) just for the case.
If you find a illuvium you want just calculate that you have 3 or even 4 tries with a resplendent shard.
-> 4x > 50% ... that should be fine. If you fail 3 times (you had 150% already) you still can use your mastershard

I did about 10 runs killing everyone and seeing what I had. Then I did 10 more, seeing what it was and if it was holo. In the end, the T5/T4 will usually be there for you to kill. I didn't find anything interesting killing all the illuvials I saw in front of me. Before the update the strategy was different

if each illuvial is generated independently, then it seems like the best approach would be to try to "see" as many as quickly as possible, but if there's something more like "every map should have [x] points of illuvials" then it seems like doing each map thoroughly makes more sense
