Generally, when you are testing (especially on first drop) rates are initially very high - to increase incidence of encounter for many testing opportunities. Then, you drop rates to where you want them after a lot of bugs have been sorted/feedback received, etc. For reference - see T5 drop rates. Likely same will happen with Holo/Dark Holo - it's just good sense imo.

Don't focus too much on higher ier Illuvials. Tier doesn't matter too much. TRy to build teams that have same synergies on affinites/classes. So try to get multiple Illuvials of one affiniy/class in your team to activate the bonus for that. But there are many videos on youtube on team building. It is not easy at the beginning

I believe it speaks to the balance of the game that the answer is a definitive no. As you collect Illuvials your best team will change depending on what you capture. I remember my first time through when I caught Blazenite... my team was instantly twice as good - and I think I was running a reasonable inferno team before that.

Hello, I was told that having multiple times the same family of Illuvials is adding airdrop points for each complete set of this family. Meaning if I get 2x Ramphy + 2x Ramphite + 2x Rhamphyre, it would give 8k points in total.

No. I think for the announcement they calculated PB4 hours. Because the work you put in PB4 (collecting Illuvials) still counts. So basically all hours that are put in to get Top 10. But for airdrop calculation they count only Illuvial sets (which can be from PB4) and 400 flat points for hours in PB4 + playtime from open Beta

Sure am, but the numbers show a very healthy airdrop distribution. You will be rewarded for your grind accordingly. Yes a few people will get lucky, but thats not too dissimilar to someone who pays 10K to capture all the Illuvials in holo and then some other dude gets lucky and pays 2K. Its the type of game Overworld is, and tbh it makes it more exciting? You really going to quit now when you think a dark holo is around the corner? I don't think so.

Besides, just the fact that there are no bots, actual liquidity, and a decent circ supply on our token should be attractive enough for Airdrop farmers.

I get the part of getting a more wide distribution, but feels a bit too OP with Holos/Dark holos in my opinion (a bit socialistic) some people succeed a lot, so we introduce something to balance distribution so that more people get more. I believe the top players in the airdrop campaign up until now, the true ones that love the game and have spent a lot of time, would agree on that one! On that note, I love the updates the team has done 🙂 the game feels a lot more vibrant and diverse now! Great job

You all have the same opportunity to get holos. As I have mentioned before, if the holos were there previously, and you grinded the same you would have the same lead on others. If you stop playing now then yes, you may get diluted, but why stop now? There are holos to capture!
