the bottom line folks is that illuvium is moving in the right direction. and we are the test subjects, thats the point of a BETA. im glad to see them moving towards what should be the real game, I had a great time catching everything and their grandma with 100+ master shards. it will only get harder and harder as we move towards real money. the idea isn't to spend $100,000 a day on the game, so it will for sure be slow. About training illuvials, playing arena, trading, etc. not illuvials per hour stat... this will upset more people than it will make people happy for sure. But I hope illuvium focus on the new player experience and longevity of the game, rather than cater for OGs. back to work I go, got code of my own to write. stay classy

I would say I see a holo once ever 2-4 runs depending on stage that could be up to $15 I don't think that is unreasonable if you look at regular trading cards. The chances of you finding a T5 stage 3 halo are incredibly rare though.

Dark holos I have seen 2 in probably 50-60 runs. I also don't think that is unrealistic either.

First when I tried it before the open beta we did a huge effort upgrading teams cause of deconstruction and stuff but then u can upgrade without that. Now the shards as well I did the shard dust but forgot to forge them and now it’s a very huge huge portion 800! And others can’t catch anything in level 4 or 5 They should re do the shard dust same as before and also the shadowed illuvials should be removed. Even now when I use the other shard that is stage 5 it doesn’t catch the rate is less then 50. It’s hard this way and not fun this way !!!!! Should be fixed soon

Make sure you check each illuvial before you scare them It can be hard to see if they are holo or not. (I may also just be super lucky lol) The first dark holo I saw I also found a regular holo in the same run 😆

i think some of these encounter mods should be nerfed. the attack speed, attack damage and crit amp are some in particular that if an encounter ends up with all 3 of those I don't see how you win it. I just got steamrolled when there was an umbre on other team with those mods

Tier 5 shards with +90 Capture Power was like 27.56% Capture Chance, I did try an attemp but got it with a Master Shard in the end.

it depends which T5S1 but I can get close to 60% with 2 drone upgrades. So if you plan your battle to get 2-3 catch chances T5S1 are not that hard to catch

Here's my free tip for the team on what the game needs now.

• Some movement boosters, like geysers for example. Something to spice the movement a bit around the regions.

• Increased illuvial density, preparing for illuvial combat. I would add T0's to the map so they can be a threat to players in the future.

i think i read somewhere that the team is already experimenting with the idea to add T0 for additional density. I love the idea to have more Iluvials on the map. But only if the chasing changes. It is not fun running into multiple Illuvials while chasing 1 and they run away in different directions and you loose them.

I just run a stage 3 to test and all combats against like 10 illuvials. Deck is still capped to 4/5? If so, people will need to be very skilled or the XP&lvl counts a lot

i think scan cost is way better now. it was pretty ridiculous before. Was spending most of my energy on scanning. now can do more encounters. especially with only 3 illuvials being catchable per encounter kinda need to be able to do more encounters

One issue I haven't seen mentioned yet about the change from "hunting" Illuvials to now "grinding XP" for illuvials and the drop to 300 energy per encounter is that Illuvial (or shard) integrity has become an issue. You can now win every fight and go through 20 or 30 Ringnuts per run just trying to keep your team.

The issue is that the mechanism is in direct opposition to strong play. Strong play means you barely win each encounter, but you do win them all. This is because you want to minimize consumables used and Illuvials used to maximize chances at capture and minimize consumable waste. But, even if you win every encounter - this only serves to maximize Integrity lost. And, it's really overbearing atm. Solution - perhaps greatly reduce integrity lost when you win the encounter?

just run the highest stage you can. Because every stage has an exp multiplier and more illuvials per encounter which increases exp. So if you cannot do stage 3 try stage 2. you should do the stage you can do without consumables to be able to use flintcaps to increase exp
