That sounds like you are in the older PB3. Currently we are in 4 and you can register for a code at https://sandbox.illuvium.io/beta-4 when you set up your IMX passport and all. Right now it's code only but around the 28th it should open to the public and no longer require a code.

From what I have seen, the major difference in encounters it stage 1 zones have 4 or 5 opponents, stage 2 zones have 6-7 opponents, and stage 3 battles have 11 -12 opponents. Also their battle buffs are higher/stronger in higher teirs.. However I have seen many people post catching high tier illuvials in stage 1 zones. There is just less chance because there are less opponents per attempt.

You installed the (testnet) version from Epic game store?

If you get an access code, you redeem it in the epic store and the testnet version should appear.

the normal one on the left is the previous version, the version you have is arena only right now. If you redeem a code from the PB4, you'd get the testnet version and play in that for overworld.

The code for that one would come in your email

They tend to send out codes in batches, keep an eye here too because sometimes they open a secret form for a couple hours at a time too.

You probably reached the 500 MP limit. You can only place Illuvials until you reached 500 MP. It just doesn't correctly update the MP UI

Or if your illuvial is greyed out then it's integrity is too low and you need to feed the ringnuts. That's the case when you fought too many times with that Illuvial. But before that happens you would see a red sign on your Illuvial that it got a debuff. If you then don't feed it then you cannot use it anymore

Yeah, pretty much. "Purifying" is the in-game fiction that covers the process of minting NFTs. If something gets stuck there, it means there was some kind of problem with the minting.

place your illuvials on the board. then start the fight. Go stage 0 first. There you have only 2 Illuvials on the board. Then it is easier to see whats going on. There is also a Tutorial you can do to learn the autobattler mechanic. You should do that first.

I had a similar issue it is usually to do with your equipped weapon. Put the weapon out of your deck and in your inventory. That seemed to fix it for me in Sanctum Mesa

You see how many exp you need for each stage when you go to the forge to fuse them. Just make sure that all 3 Illuvials have a total of that exp. Doesn't matter what level they have. You can have 1 lvl 20 + 2 lvl 1 or also 3 lvl 10 to get stage 2

Have a look at the arena tutorial. I found it to be quite helpful. It goes into some detail about the various combat mechanics and strategies. Also, don't go charging straight into S1 battles, spend some time in S0 building up a team first. The two starter Illuvials are good enough to win a few fights.
Also, remember this is a beta with features still being developed. Most console games like Zelda are (or should be anyway...) finished and polished. We still have folks working on adding more detail to the OW tutorial

But also if/when you're crafting multiples and you already have the same item in your inventory, it's really hard to know which ones are new and which ones you've already checked.

The data team is working this out. We want catching all the illuvials to be reasonable but it's unlikely that it will be comparable to a mainstream game. But it shouldn't also be so ridiculous that only whales can do it. We will find a middle ground.

Bear in mind that we're a week away from Open Beta, and the team is working full steam to get everything ready. Not a whole lot of time to spare for troubleshooting individual issues, or even for reading the channel. But give it some time, there are plenty of experienced and helpful community members here who are familiar with the major bugs and workarounds.
In your specific case, I think someone else had the same problem and found that it was related to the general equipment bug. Try changing up your gear, or unequipping everything and re-logging, and it may sort itself out.

I think it's good to have a similar thing like "Tower of Ascencion" in Summoners war. Where you have difficult challenges and in return you gain a reward.

Reward can be like good staple illuvial to have a progress in overworld. These should be non-nft an limited to overworld use only. This way we can feel that we have a small goals and progress, and not just blindly praying to RNGesus that we encounter what we need.
