I don't know, and I cant really spare any focus to research it right now - working full steam on stuff for the impending release. Best I can recommend is to unequip everything, restart the game, unequip anything that's still equipped, and repeat until you come up empty. Then maybe it'll work.

Because, in the end, whether the DAO survives in the long haul will ultimately be based on the player numbers.

But it reminds me of the "chicken and the egg" problem.

The game is going in the right direction with its economy. It's a self-driver to success.

If not, and if you genuinely believe in a low player base, as we have right now on Testnet with not even 5000 unique Illuvial wallet holders, good luck to all of us.
In this example, I would look straight for a full exit (personally, in my opinion).
Since a game lives from its players who enjoy playing it, and if it's too expensive (expectations rise with price = psychologically proven), and their expectations are not met since they had an unlucky run, it turns into lousy publicity, then a down spiral.
But where there is no question about the art and the OW, I'm mainly referring to the economist and hope that we have agile and professional ones who understand gamers and not just their investors.

Tricky to balance, convert free to play to spenders is one way, making fuel not too expensive early on is another, but I still feel like there is something missing in terms of the killer game that draw in the masses. Arena is fun, gauntlet might be good, overworld is beautiful.. but still feel like something is needed. On that note, I think overworld is really good, think they should do some type of battle royale style with a team of illuvials type game they have the maps, think this could be a cool game more catered to the masses

Nobody knows the lore and everything that has been kept as the best secret since I'm a part of this Discord.
So it has to be seen if they get the economy right.
If the expenses are not too high, get into OW runs. The art will do the rest.
However, we need to get away from the point (I feel like there is still way too much focus on that) to satisfy investors from the first minute, which is vast revenue - not going to be realistic in the long haul if you make it too expensive to meet investors expectations cause these expectations will rise with higher results.
Everyone goes higher and higher until we reach the cliff, at which point no players are willing to spend a penny on Illuvium's economy due to mismanagement from the very beginning.

It will take full attention to the statistics, agility, and willingness of the right people to adjust ASAP if needed - right from the start of the OB launch.
I would instead start lower (and miss some $ at the beginning) and see where we're heading rather than start to be expensive, giving most newcomers due to bad luck a lousy experience (due to their own money spent) and leaving them with a bad taste - and they won't come back.

I don’t think the lore and art will be enough, some might care a lot about this, but then they can get this from web 2 games. What I find interesting about illivium is the integration of the games, ownership, marketplace in addition to art and lore etc, for mass adoption to take place in my view one needs a killer game.. which I am uncertain about is already in place.. but they are moving in the right direction. But have to say that I have more that 100+ hours in OW now and really enjoy the game even in the state it is in now 😊

These encounter mods sucks. If you wanna lessen something, just implement it straight away.

For example, you want to lessen the winrate so the leveling will be hard, just lessen the exp.
And if you wanna lessen the catch rate, just lessen the catch rate for higher tier illuvials or implement the mods here, for illuvials with higher tier. Remove it from lower tier because the focus of that is leveling.

These mods becomes a coin flip for players that are just starting out. And it's frustrating cause when we play for like 4 hrs, the 1 - 2 hrs of that is wasted because of those coinflip mods. And really there are no special benefit with defeating teams with many mods. Just like a normal encounter.

Hi, question regarding components needed to upgrade your drone. When you hover over the component that's needed for an upgrade, it doesn't specify how you obtain the component, or which drone component to deconstruct? For example, a "Rare" component needed.. When you hover over it, it notes that it is made from a rare drone component that is deconstructed. Instead, should it not say it is made from a Basic/Supreme/Advanced drone component, so you know which one to forge and deconstruct? Or specify how you can obtain this rare component when you hover over it.

Illuvium Overworld is where players have to capture illuvials.

Illuvium Areana is where players train again Drone (survival mode) or play again other rangers (players).

• repopulate your inventory

Only one consumable effect per Illuvial can be active at a time, and they don't stack. So if you feed a second one, it replaces the first. (Except for ringnuts, those apply immediately and don't overwrite any existing effect.)

What even is the stage of the droneChip stage 1-2-3 it will give you the same component when you deconstruct it accoring to the Tier of the item. Tier are the top middle bar.
