This is my first shooter game. To make it easier on myself I went with Hilde (Sanctum Messa check all the terminals, one allows you to change drones) and at the beginning a stage 1 nature gun. Do one shot, send out Hilde using F, then when it unfreezes hit G. If the Illuvial runs you can follow and keep shooting, as soon as Hilde is ready again repeat process if needed. I went from not being able to shoot Doka in tutorial to being able to get T3. I also have used Nijafes video on YT for controller settings. I use my controller to run and mouse to shoot. It's a weird system but works for me.

From my tests now it seems that you get a flat amount of exp per Illuvial. Exp = mastery point cost of Illuvial. Then a bonus per level get added. It's 10% extra MP per level. So Formula would be something like this Exp = MP + (level * 0,1*MP)
You get a total Exp per board and the exp is divided equally across all your Illuvials

Tested that in Stage 0 runs because there you get always 2 Illuvials per encounter. So it is possible that for Stage 1-3 an exp bonus is applied.

then shoot them faster. Use your weapons special ability by pressing "G". Sword works best for that. It does most damage. and use your drone ability ("F") that it doesn't run away (depending on the drone you have). Then it is easy

Exp per Illuvial: Exp = (MP + (level * 0,1*MP)) * stage_multiplier
When you defeat the encounter the exp is summed up and divided equaly among all your Illuvials on the battlefield. So every Illuvial gets the same exp.

Stage_multiplier:
Stage 0 = 1
Stage 1 = 2
Stage 2 = 3
Stage 3 = 4

leaderboard has no meaning. it is useless. Airdrop is based on playtime. But nobody knows how exactly it is calculated. In OB there will be quests and tasks that you need to do for airdrop. But not know. Now you just have to play

What a fun game wasting 3 resplendent shards and Squizz escapes 3 times. I should have just destroyed that stupid shards and combine 2 of them into a master shard to guarantee the catch...

The best use cases for shards is really making master shards out of it. I also do tha with all my common and uncommon shards. Because you cannot catch anything with them

Yes. But you get 48 dust out it. So it is always a better idea to combine 2 into a mastershard whenever the catch chance is below 50% which is stupid. And which is the case for every tier 5 Illuvial.

True. But whith tha catch chances that low you can easily use more than 2 shards to capture anything. And if it escapes you have to pay crypton multiple times to find it again. This means investing more time and money into it. So I would say it is always worth it creating a mastershard out of it

I advise you to make it a rule not to go hunting for illuvials if you don’t have at least 2 master shards, so that you don’t feel offended later 😄

Yes. I always have some with me. But I already have 3 Octius. So I didn't feel the need to use 1 for squizz. And I thought 3 tries are enough to catch it. I am not mad that I didn't get him. I am mad that I wasted my resplendent shards when I could use them for something better instead of throwing them away.

Mastery Point cost of one Illuvial on the enemy board. So you can basically calculate the exp per Illuvial and then sum it up to get total exp of the encounter

So the formula has to be done for every Illuvial on the board and then you must add it together for total exp.

And we still don't know the output of IZ and if land can supply enough fuel or if the DAO will provide it. And it is important to have a good release. When players discover Illuvium they have to get hooked. They won't come back to Illuvium because prices might be lower in 6 months. Either they play or they will forget about Illuvium and play something different.

And if I understand the concept right then the prices will never be lower than now. But if fuel gets cheaper you will get "bonus" fuel when you mak a purchase. So the prizes don'T change. The amount of fuel you get will change.
