You only have to unequip your wapons from your Illuvial team and your ranger slot. And to avoid that error make sure you never equip more than 2 weapons. Even if the UI allows you to equip 3. Otherwise your whole game is broken

Maybe it's a bit late for this, but I really would've liked to see more ranger depth. Like have to lvl up skills such as sprinting or stamina if you want to dedicate to huntin, farming, smithing or crafting to make the best weapons, etc etc.

Gameplay question, I see in videos that while shooting at illuvials, the camera slows down which gives the player time to aim and shoot properly while the ranger is walking on the floor (not jumping and aiming. I know about this). How do you do it?

I would love to see some progression too. The drone system atm is more like a prerequisite to play the game. If you don't have it you looes money. What is totally missing from the OW is a progression system. Atm you only have progession when leveling your illuvials. But that does only matter if you want to play Leviathan arena. So there needs to be a progression system in OW for players that play only OW

atm I only have 8 Illuvials with me (so no variability in my team) and I am able to win stage 3 encounters if I use a consumable on every illuvial. Sometimes there are some crazy mods where I loose. But I did not optimize my team at all and don't have a team that counters the regions affinity. I actually like that they are hard enough that you cannot enter them blind and should have some sort of preparation

I think I read that hyper is very important to win these fights. And that would make sense. But I did not pay attention to that yet. It's a pain with these catch chances to catch the Illuvials after the fight. So I am farming lower tier regions and try to get my drone upgrades first. Too frustrationg to win a fight only to use up all your shards without getting anything good

I do find overall encounter mods weren't needed. They make it far too challenging unless you have a very good team comp, and now we have to add consumable runs into the mix among farming other resources. The spending is endless 😅

And don't forget that they can also increase the illuvial stats per level. then you can simply out level an encounter

so either you are good (good team), or you pay more (for consumables), or grind more for higher levels (invest more time). so there is a way for everyone to beat stage 3

I did some math a few days ago, for a fight I was getting around 48xp total in a Stage 0 battle and around 290xp total in a Stage 1. But it does matter how many illuvials you're up against also. I would say way more per enemy lol

I don't find it too bad that T5S3 are not mega rare. You don't have to forget that OW player have to supply every arena player (that doesn't play OW) with Illuvials. And considering the fact that everything is random you need to catch quite some Illuvials to get good stats/holo/dark holo.
And if you found one then good for you. But as collectors we need to find at least 2 before we even sell one to another player. Then we need to find more and more to make skins out of it. So you as a single player have to supply yourself, collectors in OW (that buy them for their collection), ascendant arena players, Leviathan arena players (that care for good stats), Zerop players (that craft skins out of them). And this has to be done three times (base, holo, dark holo)

It's a question of time imo.
Should everyone have everything with OK+ stats after a few weeks playtime or not.

I can See the droprates we have as OK with the pricing we have now, since majority couldn't aford to play much i guess the droprates could be fine.
But Limiting Players by money and not by time is imo the wrong approach in the first place for massadoption.

Totally agree that it should be limited by time and not by money.

But it is a tough balance to make. It is not fun catching only T1-2 for days before you see something good. And with the exp system they have now it is very hard to lvl and fuse Illuvials to the highest stage in a short time.
So if Stage 3 are too rare/expensive nobody will ever burn them to craft a skin because they are too valuable. So the skin economy might be dead. and there are ways to burn Illuvials through skins. So some of them will also disappear over time.
It might also be possible that most casual players never go for a stage 3 run because they are too expensive. So not everybody will even see a T5S3. So many things come together and it's not an easy question how to balance it. And I would consider us as more hardcore players. So a casual player who makes 1-2 runs a day might even quit because he never gets any valuable Illuvial and sees traveling as a waste of money.

I would say at the beginning there will be massive demand from arena players. After that we have to hope that enough Illuvials will be burned for skins. And if that doesn't help there might be new ways to introduce burns of Illuvials to reduce Stage 3 supplies. Depends how many players play the game

An don't forget the bonding curve. They will get more rare over time

So it makes sense that early players can farm enough to supply players that join several months later

But if you start up too rare and then decide to increase the supply because there are not enough Stage 3 in existence then everybody will be pissed. But you can always introduce new mechanism to reduce supply

There has been a lot of concern about the cost to play the game with the current test net prices. I may be wrong but the players will be dictating the cost of fuel in the market with purchase and sell orders so it will cost adjust relative to the player base. I’m thinking the team needed to put in an arbitrary cost to the test net eth so they could verify transactions are doing what they expected not to set a precedence for what the cost of doing a single T3 run would be. The fuel eventually will be sold out by land owners with a force multiplier baked in by the game creators but, subject to improvement protocol votes by us right?

I hope the testnet prices are not random but somewhat close to the price the team wants for OB. Otherwise we could not give feedback. But it is hard to say how many fuel the players will generate because the fuel generation in IZ is way lower than what is needed for playing the game. So this might get adjusted. The players wil determine the price but there will be a max/min price that is possible. So the testnet prices might be close to a max price meaning that it might get expensive when demand is high.
But we can see for example that the Hyperion cost are way to high. If it stays like that then hyperion would be needed alot more making the other fuels almost useless.
