Agreed, it was announced in april and we just got our first look now. And yes the game was like 50ish hours. This will most likely be later half of 2023 at the earliest as most game like that take around 3 years.

Pretty much as expected. Devs aren't allowed to say anything, so even if they wanted to give us an actual update, they're not allowed to. Pretty sure WBs marketing has very specific plans they follow, so I don't think it's likely we'll see anything until they think its time.

Its still very good news to hear. It would also be nice to hear something similar, just one tweet, from the official account, more coordinated though, since this one was just a reply to someone. Just to say its all okay and they're working on the game, maybe an introduction to some of the new people hired to help with the game. And it would be fun for them to tease with words, something as simple as "You won't regret the wait" or "Stay tuned". I'm sure the devs must be really hyped to finish the game too.

I don't think so, the first reveal trailer was late 2020, with release in 2021, worst case the first trailer dropped a bit over a year until release. Now release date is 2022, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything about the game until we're at least under 1 year away from the game. And if it's releasing late next year, we still haven't passed that threshold. Just wait until late this year or early next year

Every Game needs someone to directly interface with the community i feel Wb does a good job from what ive seen with Wizards Unite but their also needs to be action as well i break it down like this have someone Cm/ Creator ect Gather actionable data from the community ( oh this is a game breaking bug here ect ect) then have a monthly meeting with devs to go over a list of actions that could either be pushed back or swept aside as not important

and that is how a healthy game remains around for years and years to come
