I don’t think she was that bad of an actor, I just don’t think the film makers gave her much to work with. Their whole romance was forced into this romantic tone, when in the books it was very casual, they just kissed and got together, they were never ‘sweet’ with each other. It was one of the reasons Harry liked her so much, she didn’t make a big deal out of the whole thing.
