I think it's funny that most of what you learn in school you don't relatively use. Like you'll use a good portion of the math up to the point of like algebra maybe. You'll definitely use like division a lot and you'll use fractions a lot. Realistically you won't need anything about history you won't need anything you learn about science I mean you might need the minor stuff but most of which is completely pointless. it's like you don't really start learning until you hit college. elementary School or for people outside of the US would be primary schoolYou learn most of everything you need. Like obviously your ABC's and how to count to a hundred and realistically you don't need any more than that

Well the reason is because thats where the window of opportunity for transition is easiest to get you settled into a college, now Im not saying it will be the easiest for everyone but they have all the standardized tests laid out with most of the high school knowledge being presented to you with it being on the more fresh side, its just that much harder to reeducate yourself and relearn. Since you'll likely be an adult there will be a lot of responsibility shifted on you. College isn't for everyone, but as long as the high school is setting a long notice to warn you in advance its about as much as they can do. I can't speak for every school but you and your counselor usually have a sitdown for college preparation and career evaluation. Some people just won't know what they want to be until they get to that point in their life. I think that if you don't know what you want to do it's understandable and okay to not go to college. A lot of people in college often find themselves dropping out or not even using their degree.
