Everyone with nvidia gpu's, if you don't know this do NOT install the newest gpu drivers, there's a bug that causes the cpu to go on a 10-15% load even when games are turned off, so install 528.49 instead.

When I was in high school, I played Guitar Hero a lot. I had a save file with progress on a library of 490 songs… Probably like 500+ hours (I had no life).

Well, one day after finishing a song, I set my guitar controller down and flipped on a light switch while my game was saving. Suddenly, something happened but I don’t know what exactly. All I know is I saw my light bulb literally explode (glass went everywhere) and the circuit breaker tripped.

My PS3 shut off in the middle of the save. Then, after I cleaned up all the glass and reset the breaker, I booted up my PS3. Save corrupted.

Thats not always true, corrupted saved can be recovered. Also it might not be corrupted, the game is super scuffed and could have an easy fix

Ideally you should be able to use GPUs from either vendor without issues - it’s not their specific hardware, it’s the Nvidia drivers and/or poor optimisation on Portkeys end for Nvidia hardware

This is why I no longer game on PC btw. Hardware is the same for everybody on consoles. Devs can optimize it for that specific hardware so issues are slim because they don't have to account for massive variation.
