you know what annoys me. so if you choose wizard your locked out of the girls dorm on whatever house you choose. so what annoys me is there is 2 chests unopened in the girls dorm but no way for slytherine wizards to get them because the stairs turn into a slide. yet in hufflepuff you can avoid this by simply scaling the railing into the girls dorm area. if devs read this i would appreciate it if you guys did away with this restriction because i'm sure like myself love to grab every chest i can find. doesn't seem to make any sense to lock the opposite gender out of the opposing dorms if girls can go into the guys dorms but guys can go into the girls dorm. an i know what people are gonna say just pick witch if you wanna go into the girls dorm.well not everyone wants to pick witch if it doesnt fit their characters intended backround. i am sure everyone will agree or almost everyone when i say make the girls dorm accessible to the boys if your gonna let the girls walk into the boys dorm.

you need something called Mallowsweet to activate the trials. you should've learned about that when you were down by the lake with natsai you would heard an old lady yelling for help an you would learned through her how to do the merlin trials. some are jumping puzzles others are retreiveing puzzles and the last category of the merlin trials is destruction which would have you find and destroy an object with confringo or bombarda. confring works best though cause apparently it takes 2 attempts with bombarda

people are modding a game that does not belong to them as the game is from my understanding intellectual property and the rights belong to i would assume who ever made and owns the rights to the game. most mmo's i've played have a TOS an it's usually in small print that forbids the use of mods. for instance i watched video the other day of this person who did a showcase of all the outfits on their witch....only thing was then did i realise they modded their game so they could obtain all the outfits including the relic house robes from the other houses.

people work hard to get something exclusive to a specific house. i chose to make 4 characters 3 of which i spent the time to get to and complete the key challenge to get their respective house relic robes. for someone to go in mod their game and basically make it so they get all the robes the ones they didn't earn or work towards i feel is stealing cause based on what house they picked they earned the robes for that one house. i dont think it's appropriate or fair to mod a game do the key challenge claim the relic house uniform for say gryffindor but upon opening the chest and getting the house robes instead of just getting the gryffindor house robes you end up getting all the robes. idk if that makes sense

It probably would have, but this was the PC version. Steam cloud save didn't save the day either. Luckily I am also playing another character on ps5 with my wife so I'll stick with him for now. It depends of your level + RNG (better or worse than your gear, more the loot is rare more it has chance to be better.

one thing I noticed, but haven't confirmed, when upgrading gear, it upgrades the secondary stat, not the primary. I used to keep gear with a slightly lower primary stat thinking it'd upgrade to be better than what I had equipped, but it never has. If that makes any sense

I would say it works like this, from what i understood and saw on net :

• Big/beautiful chest : i heard it's always a legendary
• The loot is RNG : if you load your save, i think you won't loot the same item
• The loot depends of your level : if you are lvl 20, you won't loot lvl 40 items but more like lvl 18-22
• I will say random number : but when you loot something : green has 20% chance to be better, blue 40%, purple 60%, orange 80%
• Then you can upgrade it for better stats and put an enchant (that you drop with achievements ect) on it

just to expand on this, the enchant levels are tied to the rarity, so orange gets lvl 3 enchats, purple lvl 2, and blue lvl 1. I found by level 20, it was never worth equipping anything but orange (legendary)

• No armors, just buy the clothes you want but with restriction when you are in school (like auto swap items) : "No Johnny, you can't keep your Asylum mask during my class"
• Ancient magic is okey but not necessary. We should be in 1st year. And each class we attend, you unlock a talent for a spell (more aoe, dmg on duration, more cc ...)
• Talents of your character : Affinities (like potion maker, biologist, ...)
• Some sort of restriction : kids shouldn't ask you to save X in the dark forest. Adults shouldn't ask your to kill an army of Gobelins to find their stolen wallet. Same for walking at night
• Identity for your character like Star Wars TOR : you can insult others, be rude, threat them ect

There is a quest with Sebastian that you need to complete... for the second upgrade... actually it the first four in that particular chapter... I don't remember the name

Move your main quest forward is what you need to do.

I kind of wish they would allow you to use the cross wands club even after the champion is crowned, and the same goes for the summoners court. It would be great to just have the option to repeat play other NPCs.

When is an online mode coming? i mean there is so much potential for pve survival against goblins u need to add an infinite mode, raids for endgame loot(endgame would have to bee added as well lol) or pvp with this wonderfull combat system sothat it could rly get challenging - maybe seasonal events where you can join the online thing after completing the story and seeing the ingame seasons again as well as (maybe) reoccuring qudditch tournaments or other stuff to earn house points that actually mean something etc. being able to play with friend would also be nice

PvP requires the game to be heavily modified... and to move to server side all of the characters statistics for security purposes... otherwise it will be hack fest

plus this is an additional costs for WB since they need to rent or host themselves servers on which those stats to be stored , verified, modified , etc.

also it's not lore wise since most of the spells have to be modified as well... for example the killing curse which by the lore its instant death... imagine in PvP someone is hacking the cooldown of the skill and killing everyone in one shot

Multi Player and PvP is a big no for Hogwarts Legacy... we already saw in Hogwarts Mystery the very bad side of playing with other people...

you are overusing "everyone" since like ~90% of player base is doing fine (considering 93% rate on Steam). I hope they'll tweak the game with next patch(es) but I think there wont be miracles.

For performance issue, if you have a great PC, try to turn off Ray Tracing 1st. That's the main thing that cause fps drops for me i think.

Go to the blue stuff that gets highlighted when casting revilio. Often it means you have to use a spell to get the fieldpage (like the mirrors, u need lumos)

The games been out nearly a month, everyone and their mother has made videos/tweets/forum posts about how badly optimised the PC version of the game is, with stutters and terrible CPU utilisation.

There's really no reason to go more than 60fps, the game runs flawlessly at that framerate. I am playing on my PS5 and the game is 60fps and I tried my 165hz monitor and I barely saw any difference
