Completely agree with this. For me the game is a very strong and solid 9/10 (as a huge HP fan). To make it a 10 it would need to include multiplayer and quidditch. I also think some of the lessons could have been more interactive. For example, potions on HBP on PS3 was much better than Hogwarts Legacy

Upgrade them so they spread curse to surrounding enemies, take the upgrade that damages all cursed enemies, then transfigure a cursed enemy and you'll instantly kill all of them

Crucio becomes very strong when you learn avada kedavra you can curse several enemys at once and with the ultimate skill you can kill all cursed enemeys with only 1 avada kedavra. Imperio is strong, when you use it on strong enemys like a troll. The troll will deal much damage to others so you can clear the field way more easy

If you played the last main story quest in the great hall, it clears your quest journal. But before you accept this last mission, professor weasley gives you a quest to complete your fieldguide, but the quest cant be completed. I wish there is a last scene where she says: "good work" or something

If you have full inventory and you try to open a big chest you will gain nothing. You cant loot this chest even if you come back with free space. Some people told they could not get quest items because they had this bug. And there is still a bug, where savefiles cant be loaded sometimes. (Happened for me 3 times in 80 hours). I hope they fix it.

so i'm hoping that we can have a mature discussion about this. but as a gay person i find the character of sirona to be embarrassing. there are a few reasons why:

1. when you put in a character and go the extra mile to hammer home the point that this person has no flaws and everyone likes them, that reeks of game developers walking on eggshells. Sirona cannot be allowed to be a real character with flaws at the risk of offending someone. how embarrassing that things have come to that, honestly.

2. a shopkeeper NPC is not inclusion. the "right" way to have LGBT inclusion, if it exists at all, would be something along the lines of: poppy makes it explicitly clear after an optional quest that she is attracted to you, and has at least one line saying "yeah we're both girls and the 1890's are a time where that's not normal, but i figured i may as well try my luck because you know how hard it is to find people". this is a side character with an optional quest, so no one is forced to "be gay", but it's something that's there for you to do if you want, and obviously people who identify with that would beeline for that quest so they can see themselves in the game.

The graphics definitely don't look worse with RT on. Maybe if you have RT low on, instead of High or Ultra, but the game absolutely looks better with RT.

That said, if you have performance issues, then sure, turn RT off, but there's no reason I'd do so when I average over 100 fps with it on.

some of the side quests actually makes sense though. Cause the main quest is almost at the end of winter and progressing through that without doing anything kinda breaks the immersion for me. Side quests and challenges kept me in the hogwarts rather than in game. But, again that my preference cause some people actually disliked a lot of side quests and repeating challenges (can't blame them lol)

Game definitely doesn't seem to be using VRAM correctly. Pcgamingwiki has a fix listed which helps.

But the game is also not using the CPU properly and is CPU bottlenecked, and areas like Hogwarts and Hogmeade really suffer because of this

Also according to Hardware Unboxed, the Steam version is a newer build of the game compared to the EPIC version. Apparently this doesn't seem to affect performance but I don't know why both PC version aren't using the same build
