I'm fairly comfortable right now, similar to that other dude I could save about $300 a month, but I don't as having a lot of money isn't a goal for me. Like I said it isn’t about making the most or being the richest. It is about using your potential and making as much as you want to in order to live an easier life because yes money does make life easier and allows you to be happier….

I got a student job and that is how I afford everything, my parents don’t give me anything except for clothing and food ofc. And I agree that in certain countries you might need connections and luck, but in A LOT of countries you don’t need either of those

What I mean is that you're able to fall back on that option. Because of your parents, you can study medicine, a notoriously difficult field to study, and not really have much to worry about, even with a student job. As you say, your parents pay for food and clothing which most people don't get from their parents

I don't mean to shame you at all l, just so you're aware what a position of privilege you're coming from. When you come from wealth (I do as well, I'm extremely fortunate that my parents both have high paying jobs) it's easy to think that people just need to get a second job or go and get a degree

But the reality is that those aren't an option for everyone, and not everyone can afford the time for the former or the money for the latter

And bringing it back to our original discussion, for me the time spent at a second job or spending the money on a better degree (I live in the UK, £9k+ a year for tuition fees ) isn't worth the sacrifice of my mental health

Not at all, if you work hard you’ll get out of poverty in a lot of countries and cities, ofc there are places that are way more expensive and where you might not get around with an average job, but poor people like actual poor people can get out of that situation by working harder than other people. I’m not saying they’ll make enough to be able to do whatever they want but they’ll be able to save up more money and get out of their situation OVER TIME. That is exactly what happened to a friend of mine. His parents were both without a job and relied upon an institution that gives ppl who have no jobs enough money to afford a roof over their head and food, his father died 5 years ago and my bro changed his entire life around, he now has a good job, ALREADY HAS A HOUSE and he’s only 24 and he did ALL OF THAT coming from nothing WHILE ALSO taking care of both his mother and his little brother, he had multiple jobs as well during the time he was studying. So don’t say just working hard can’t get you out of poverty, because yes it can. You just need to be smart about it and not settle for a job that does’t pay good and especially in this day and age where you have SOOOOOO many options and so many sources of information…

You can click the tags for the types of art you want to see. There is Digital Art which is separate from the AI Generated tag so it will let you view any digital non-AI art if that's your choice. You can select other tags with it to further add to what is visible to you, like Hand-Drawn or Arts and Crafts etc.

I think we'll see a lot more original art after launch when people get really hyped about playing. There is also a lot of older art posts in our archive at #🎨art-and-ugc-archive if you'd like to browse there too.
