Maxima potions and erdurus potions are your friends

Whilst Natty and Poppy are just fillers for dark arts and poachers and Ominis is merely there for parts of Sebastian's relationship quests and obviously ominis is intended to replace Sebastian post game

if I was to change anything I would add new spells to Natty's and Poppy's relationship quests just to even things out

like how Sebastian got Unforgivables for his relationship quests

Hogwarts legacy seems to be more focused on Slytherin/ Ravenclaw in terms of character focus majority of major characters are in either Slytherin and I think that the canon house for the protagonist is supposed to be Ravenclaw because of Isidora's (forgive me if I spelt it wrong) house

but then again Ravenclaw barely gets any type of attention lol

I think it's because Hogwarts has so many things currently being worked on / set at the time Hogwarts legacy is taking place, like for example a few daily prophets fore shadow a basilisk being bred in Hogsmeade

but what I think the game is technically setting up is the main events of tom riddles time at Hogwarts

one vivarium - one breeding pen is the limit - 4 species is the limit for a single vivarium... all you need is one male and one female, thus you cant breed more than one beast in one vivarium

I mostly did most of the activities I needed for 100% completion during the main story so that I didn't have to do it during the post game it's actually more fun to achieve 100% before finishing the main story

but yeah after I completed the main story on my first 4 playthroughs I needed to get the 4 trophies needed for the map chamber trophy for each house

I agree with that. I didn't do it on my first playthrough because I felt like speed running everything but I did on my second playthrough. In fact I chose gryffindor for both playthroughs. Is it worth exploring other houses? I also didn't complete the game with the evil ending.

As well done as the game is there is so much that could have been different with choices and story. Example, Ominous...At one point Ominous uses an Unforgivable Curse on a muggle born even though he didn't want to but says he had no choice. So, when his best friend uses an Unforgivable curse to kill his Uncle who's been an jerk his whole life, after his uncle attacks him, he considers turning him in to the authorities and having him sent to Azkaban. It feels like Ominous should have more of an understanding to the situation as he is suppose to know Sebastian pretty well.

His obsession was pure, cure his sister. Get his twin, his other half, part of his soul, back.
The magic of Slytherins spellbook oozed dark magic hence Ominis' warning about the dangers of dark magic "until its too late". Sebastians weakness is his ambition, his desire to keep those he loves alive. He lost his parents and lives with an uncle who clearly has anger issues and takes it out on Sebastian rather than trying to mentor him.
The book latched onto Sebastians desperation, driving logical thought out. His curiosity got the better of him, his parents traits being enhanced in him. He was driven to the relic, but part of him knew it was wrong. The price was gonna be too much. He didn't have full control because he didn't want full control.
His anger, the influence of dark magic, being pushed too far, his grief, culminates in his killing of Solomon (WHO COULD EASILY HAVE CAST INCARCEROUS TO BIND SEBASTIAN TO STOP THE FIGHT HE'S A FLIPPING EX AUROR) and the dark magic relinquishes it's hold because Sebastians remorse will be what saves him in any future games if any

That wasn't an attack on them, that was him taking the relic and destroying it. Seb then directly attacked him. That is what striking first means. Attacking someone directly. or attempting to. Solomon did not do that when he took the relic.

Solomon could have taken everyone out of the damn place before destroying the relic but he couldn't know the Inferi would still be animated after its destruction. He logically assumed its destruction would render the Inferi inert again since it allowed animation and control of them in the first place.

It's half true. Alan Tew one of the game directors mentioned in a video that at the time they weren't working on any DLC. That doesn't mean no DLC later. They've still got the switch release to do. I wouldn't expect to hear anything until after that.

If they make no announcements in November there'll be no DLC. However, this game made over a billion dollars so it would be extremely surprising not to get DLC, unless they went straight into production for Hogwarts Legacy 2

I just completed the game (took a break about 3/4 of the way through). Had tears in my eyes when the credits rolled. I was sad to go back to the Map Chamber though and see the portraits empty 😦 But I guess you can't expect them to hang around all day, can you? Also the battle with the teachers was awesome, fighting alongside Sharpe vs a troll was neat, wish I got to fight alongside Hecate or Ronan for a particular battle but it was still cool!

I ignored most of the side quests because I wanted to see the rest of the story.

I was level 27 so I was quite under leveled, but even then I didnt find ranrok hard. Just tedious and boring.

His move set never changed and he had too much health. Though the second half of my complaint can probably be attributed to my lack of levels.
