Well, it's certainly about telling the right story. Let's say that they had actually worked on Quidditch, was done with it or could have been done with it by main game release, but decided to hold it for two months after release with a price tag of EUR 25 or something. Bad look, right? But working on perhaps a season-themed DLC parallel to the main game, that would totally be fine.

I actually think mechanically the opposite might be true. I could imagine them making it so you have to pass the Quaffle to AI players while avoiding Bludgers. Perhaps you could have a dodge option on your broom using the existing orange/red signs when a bludger is about to hit you causing you to drop the ball.

Catching the snitch is just a race where you don't know the course, really, I can't see that being very mechanically engaging.

Despite all that I miss when you bought a game you had the right to do with it as you will as long as it doesn't dierctly interfere with other players' gameplay and the profitability of the game for the devs like piracy. Now we just buy the 'license' to play the game. It just feels wrong. But that's the world we live in. And I'm not so deplorable to not believe in a mod. I would like to believe mods know the rules in and out. Have trust in people.

So after 64 hours i finished the main story line. Now i do have a few side quests to do but i am now wondering on what else to do the game doesnt explicitly tell you.
I came up with the following things, but i want to know if i am missing something.

1. Collecting collectibles / All Archivments
2. Beat the battle arenas
3. Catch all shiny/albino beasts (male/female) and Fight against Graphorn for fun
4. Set "World" record in flying
5. Collect all Skins (broomstick and clothing)
6. Play the Accio minigame
7. Complete the Depulso puzzles

There were a few combos I really liked. Freeze/slice is pretty good. The transformation spell with the talent unlock to make it into an exploding barrel and then magic throw are pretty good, too

honestly at some point the entire game shifted from being such a happy thing to bit more depressing. like the beginning was such a great feeling of going to hogwarts for the first time and all but then you shift away from school activities and go more towards the trials and all and it gets a little darker the more you progress. then again thats the same thing with harry potter lol the first 2-3 books/films are all sunshine and daisies (prisoner of azkaban a bit less) but after the goblet of fire everything becomes dark with every book/film at least one important side character dying

true some brooms in the movie do too like for example mad eye moody's but brooms like the one harry flew on didn't have that so whenever daniel radcliffe had to film a flight scene it would be pretty painfull. they even added seats to the brooms to make it more comfortable. of course those where edited out in fact i believe the entire broom used was just a simple painted prop and the actual textures and detail and such was added afterwards during editing

Some of them are a ways away from the city centre, but definitely a challenge to find them all. There are some helpful lists and illustrated maps of all Hogsmeade field guides pages. I ended up just having to go through them all and find the ones I missed once I got down to just a handful left.

theres one spot in the far southeast region of the map, only one spawns and most of the time its male, took me a few tries but if you just fast travel back to the closest floo flame and go to the map and wait and head back itll respawn. i just captured it and did that until it was female

Well, there are only a couple of choices there right, either you make a game with a set protagonist with a full backstory or you let the player choose. A blank canvas is less work than giving the player backstory options

yeah i get it. i like some of the freedom they gave with stuff like that. like being able to be a good wizard but still get the unforgivable curses. i hate alignment meters and getting forced to play a certain way

It's not exactly a tunnel, but to get to the southeast part of the map you need to go under a mountain through a Goblin pass

Just played the hufflepuff house quest that takes you to Azkaban! Was such a cool surprise as I had no idea it was in the game. Said to my wife it would be cool to see Azkaban when I did my first play through as Gryffindor

No, if you sent him to Azkaban you cannot learn the unforgivable curses. Btw, your story doesn’t change whether you use them or not, it’s the dialogue options that matter.
