no they are not. PC has a bug where it will say "data from this platform is not supported" (or similar) but this is an incorrect/misleading error hiding the real error

the one exception here is QR codes can fail if trying to import on PS5 (maybe Xbox too) if they use cosmetic parts that are not unlocked by default and the person importing doesn't have them unlocked

yeah they aren't, the gotcha is for console import, it requires the person who is importing to have everything unlocked involved, so if say, it uses a scar that is not unlocked by default, and that person doesn't have that scar unlocked, it will give an error

I don't know what options Xbox gives you, does it let you pick the quality/resolution of the image at all?

on Xbox I go to the edit custom character and then in the bottom right corner there’s a share button which is my select button on the controller. I press that and then I’m guessing you take a pic of it on Xbox and then share it to a friend I think that’s how that works. My Xbox resolution is at 1080 P. That’s what I have it set on my TV that I have can support 4K ultra HD.

I wouldn't say simplistic so much as stylistic. One Piece characters have a very specific aesthitic, much like Akira Toriama with DBZ or DQ. The issue is that the face you made doesn't capture any of that, and so it looks like just a girl with orange hair. The reason Yor is better is because that anime's artstyle more closely resembles realism then say One Piece does. She looks great because the proportions for the face and skin + eye coloring are perfect. But for a character like Nami, she needs a bit less realistic proportions.
