Are there any characters that have particularly good synergy with Hadi? My partner loves playing him and we run duos all the time, so I'm wondering if there's a good pairing I'm missing. Only been back at it for a few weeks and still catching up on learning about all the heroes that released in the 3 years I was gone
Not really, no 🤔👍
Everything goes
Fair enough!
Trade ult with her is an option
Trying to find a Main since im pretty new to Naraka, Tier Lists are old af sadly. Im stuck to Wuchen now and think hes nice to play especially in 1v1`s (absolute beginner here). Is there something like an Actual Tier list for Solo/duo/Trios Characters?
I don’t think there’s an actual list but solos characters (not in any order)
Lyam, Lannie, Justina, Akos, Shayol, Valda, Tarka
Trios characters kinda depend on the composition you’re running I’ll list a few popular ones
Monk, Kylin, Zip
Matari, Zai, Cyra
Feria, Justina, Cyra
Tessa, Viper, Wuchen (V1 Wuchen)
Takeda, Temulch, Cyra
Obviously for ranked you can be way more flexible with character choices, but these were popular trios team comps in Naraka’s pro league
Pretty much any transformer is more played in trios (although feria did have her era in solos as well)
I’m not sure if new Yoto is good yet as I don’t play her at all
So leaving her out of the lists since I have no idea
Check pinned i have a trios meta comp list posted
But that really only applies to high level IW/tournament
Hi. Is Zai even playable in solos? I'm mostly playing Zai and it's ok, until I run on Lannie. Also, which talents and gliphs will you recommend? I am kinda a newbie, just now reached 60 lvl and playing only solos. F1 and V2?
For glyphs and talents I recommend checking the glyphs video guide pinned in this channel and the list of skills for each character that @lost dagger made for us a while back 🤔👍
Just got updated for this patch
Zai is playable in solos, but it definitely isn't her best place, she loves chaos in order to free spam with her ult; cc counters her pretty heavily
Fantastic!
Thanks.
Hi, how can I manage my time using akos ult? I feel like 22 seconds is barely enough to use it, This doesnt happen to me with other characters ult
Jump- land-attack for purple focus.
Jump- land-Jump- land-attack for gold focus.
If it staggers you can go into an uppercut and combo them from there and end the combo with pounce. You can also use these to shut down some ultimates because of the quick gold focus over and over.
Your air horizontals and scale rushes are also enhanced so you can make use of those for more damage and chase as well. It's not easy to avoid a good akos and he can usually get a decent chunk of damage in during his ult
What can you do against Lannie V2? Is it just run away until the ult ends and come back later?
Yep, sounds fair
Or trade ults, depending on who you are playing
dojo signups are open

@peak pewter check this
for future reference, you can find it in the pinned messages of this channel!
Well said 👍👍
Is it okay to use karumi in solo mode.
Not optimal, let's say that
Her whole kit revolves around having a teammate, you can play her in solos, but it's like playing a character with no abilities
Not really good
The only reason I want to is cus of the persona skin 😭
Just queue duos then 🤔👍
You can make solo kurumi work, as @drowsy dragon did already
Their prob goated lol
(I only got the game today so idk much)
But it's unlikely you'll enjoy it with a lower level of skill, since It requires 2x the work because you have no tools outside your nejtral
Id recommend not playing her solo then 🤔👍
But for team modes you might indeed like her
Np
If u have any questions about the game or need help with anything don't hesitate to ask
Also, make sure to check pinned comments in the various channels , we put there a lot of useful infos to be starting off the game 👍
Nah not goated
But you definetely need basic knowledge and advanced to be able to dodge more + abilities usage
What are new good Yoto Hime glyph ?
I believe they are posted here @mighty arch
So the old ones should still be fine even with the new Yoto Hime rework
They are indeed
👍
Pinned comments, bin's one 👍
But those glyphs take them with a grain of salt
We should update them.
For reference use #🙎┃character-guides message this instead
I'm like, slightly above average skill level, and want to pick up shayol wei. Any tips?
Work on your neutral 🤔👍
She's really easy to pick up, her abilities are op
I ran into Akos Hu v3 a few times in solo and it caught me off guard both times. Are there any good counters?
If you go twice against the wall you are free
So either stay on and fight akos, or try to bait some openings to exit
Oooo gotcha 🫡
it's like fighting with training weights on
a way to force yourself to play good mechanically because you don't have good abilities to fall back on
and to outplay enemy ults because you don't have an ult to give you easier kills
Getting used to the game feeling is so hard
To be able to sense in when you can dodge etc
You will get there 👍👍
The secret is to never give up and always try to figure out how you can improve
The hard part is keeping your cool when an enemy approaches and fights you
Not when I get run down by pro league trios

Always keep your cool 👍
They are better as matter of fact, but you can still kill them
They are not invincible 👍👍
3 of us abandoned the hope of surviving and managed to kill one using everything in 2-3 sec
Their team killed all us few seconds later
Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on who to watch for matari
Not really 🤔, what kind of help are you looking for?
just general like understanding of the character
best ways to use her dash like to help combos and whatnot
For abilities u might want to check the pinned comments in here 🤔👍
Oh shoot I didn't even realize that was in there lol thank you
As for her dash, it can soft combo break, it charges into a golden focus dash if u need (good to disrupt team fights with a lot of people), and it's instant cast version is a decent combo starter
Oohh ive only full charged it lol
I'll have to try the instant cast
It's blue focus
ya
U can also use it to extend combos, but I can't send you a video ATM since I'm not at home 🤔😅
I'll see if I can later
No worries, appreciate it!
I just got into the game about like a week ago lol
She reminds me of jett in valorant in a way so I like playing her
Fair 🤔
I take them the chance to recommend checking out hold checking as it's the base of the game 🤔👍
Hold checking?
There is a systematic way of hitting more blue focus attacks in Naraka Bladepoint, getting parried less and reading your opponents better. It’s called holdchecking and you’re gonna learn it in this video.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Get Naraka Bladepoint:

This might help
It's the foundation of the fighting in this game
Ooh tysmm
Which of the variants would you recommend for trios? For Matari they recommend 3
Trios: F2V1 or F2V2 or F1V1
Depends on the comp you are playing and what you want to do as individual 🤔
F1 v1 is single target lockdown
With good mobility
Also self heal for you and allies
(or that's V2? Not sure 🤔)
The other variant is more of chaotic disruption and peel for supports
Consider matari to be half a support in trios
You are the middle ones position 2 of the three
Oh really?
Same goes for hero difficulty ratings
Yep
She has a high skill ceiling
But she is easy
The difficulty is mostly derived from the fact that she does not have a combo breaker
Not having one is really taxing
Plus she's not that easy overall, once you get to higher skill levels
Oh dang
She's got a lot of possibilities tho
Shes a good main though?
Atleast for me since I'm still fairly new
I only really found out how she is because I got her extreme skin so
Especially because u just started, just pick someone u think it's cool
Okay
No reason to be forced by the meta, all characters are viable 👍👍
And if you are forced into smth u don't like it's just not going to be fun
Fun > winning and meta
True
I mean so far I've had fun on everyone I tried
But I also don't want to end up picking someone bad
No one is bad
Everyone has strength and weaknesses
Valda is super solid, yoto just got reworked and it's quite strong atm
Kurumi is made for team modes, not strong for solo
Is her rework good? I don't think I've barely seen it
Yeah I mostly play in a duo/trio
It is good I must say yes.
She's pretty strong yeah
Ohh dang, yeah I think I've only ran into it like twice since its been out
Anyone have tips for dodging wuchen v2 if you get hit by the charm thingy?
blue focus through small swords and dodge the big swords
you can rely on the sounds it makes to know when to dodge
thanks

Is there a place somewhere hidden in this discord, about updated builds/guides for each hero?
tysm for sending this
theres tutorials ingame for it but it def explains it a lot more in depth easier to understand
Temmy ult clips feel like crack
I’ve watched a bunch of Pro Gameplays now and then. And in so much Teams there is a Matari…
I mean I’m way to dumb for this Character but what’s her Purpose there in 3s?
Ahh she can’t get stunned when invisible, right?
Picked up Cyra for the first time and liking her in trios. What’s the go to glyph setup & F & Ult to choose?
by viper? no
invisibility hides you from her ult
what is the best character?
All of them
which hero in duos should i use to play with my kylin zhang friend
kylin wants a support usually, like kurumi or zip
Alright thanks
you don't need to play that btw, you can also play like a brawler hero too, or shayol, anything can work really
Okay just wanted to know to know how to pair well with my friend's main
Thanks again coach

Anyone know some good ways to improve parrying skills? I feel like I’m pretty horrible at prediction parries
Practice
Parry is a high risk high reward action
I personally wouldn't recommend it ever, unless you are certain of what the enemy is going to do
The more you play against people and the more you improve your hold check and neutral (which are pretty much the same thing), the more you will be able to force a reaction from the enemy and also the more you will be able to tell what they are going to do 👍
Dont prediction parry
A guide in which I explain how you can use the combination of spacing, dodges and weapon movement to more consistently avoid and parry blue focus attacks. Dodge parrying is a difficult aspect of the game to learn, as it requires good situational reading to apply correctly, but it can seriously elevate your gameplay by punishing your enemy for mi...
Parry like this
Punish parry
Prediction parry should be a last resort, most of your parries should be punishment parries
But in general work on your reading skill too
You need to be able to read your opponent and you do this by dancing in neutral and holdchecking
Yeah but the dodge is still prediction still
Prediction should be based on learned information, or educated guess based on behavior of your opponent.
As for how to improve in parry, my recommendations are restrain and read. Restrain your parry just from blue focus, using dodge to avoid blue focus is an option. Read your opponents, guess their actions, release time based on how they move and how they fight, these come with experience (for both keep yourself calm during the fight and for how to read your opponent while observing them)
Thanks everyone

can someone tell me how i can iframe with trickstep?
why it doesnt work
does it only apply to the first fox hit against tessa for example
You cannot 🤔👍
It's not an I frame move
Only moves that makes your character temporary disappear work
Lannie’s combo breaker does have invisible frames tho and I’ve used those to dodge a viper V1 snap. But yeah invisible frames don’t work against Tessa ult, or else matari V1 would be uber busted
it says immune tho
so how i had understand that, during trickstep i should be immune to enchant, but it clearly doesnt work like this i tried it a few times
shouldnt have called it iframe, my bad
they might be referencing the moment where lannie can reactivate her v to teleport to the ball? im not sure if that counts as true iframes or not as ive never tested it
if its the same as shayol v2 teleport than i think it can be used to dodge tessa ult snap
She gets the Trickstep stance for like 1 sec after activating ult
you can see above my head in the vid
trickstep is the name of the ult variation is my understanding, but naraka english translations have always been touchy
if you have a friend to hop into the custom with i do think the only way lannie v2 could immune a tessa ult would be the teleport after a ball throw as it might be a blink similar to shay v2
but everything else in her ult is just gold frames, so you might ignore a valda spear or shayol shield throw as its the same level of gold focus as when those ults are thrown but tessa ult is a bit different, it pulls people out of gold focus
yea guess thats only way to find out
alrght ty
yeah sorry i cant say for sure, i have limited time on lannie and tbh ive never thought of using her v2 that way before
all good appreciate the help

I frames are invincibility frames 😅👍😂
Invisible ones usually don't have any kind of effect as you kindly pointed out
Lannie V1 is still interrupted by Tessa ult tho
(the flying carpet one)
The other one is the same minus the constant hyper armour u have when flying in the air, since you are grounded and playing normally
I’m aware of what I frames are, that’s why I specified invisible/stealth frames on her F.
her v2 teleport MIGHT be actual iframes but as i said i havent tested it, though i wouldnt be surprised if it is like shay v2 which can dodge things like tessa ult/break akos v3 etc
The part where she teleports to the ball for the huge dunk yes, it works
Really tight tho
The other nop, regular dash. It just gets interrupted midway👍
Shayol V2 on the other hand u are totally correct, in fact when Tessa was meta last year, Shayol was used as her counter exactly for that interaction 👍👍
Yeah so Lannie does have I Frames then, but it would be hard to use since it requires the ball to be in play + not on your person to activate the teleport blink
Yep
Can someone screenshot the ult description? I think trickstep might be active during her f after the ball throw but I'm not sure
Ty
Maybe it is only when activating it then. Although in my experience doesn't really work that way, so the description might be misleading
Yeah the only other interpretation I can maybe see making sense is you get the immunity for the very first ball throw? Isn’t Yoto also immune to stuff like that during her first slash? (of the older Yoto ult not the new one to be clear)
So maybe because you ulted but hadn’t entered the “throwing/charging” state you didn’t get the immunity? Idk 🤷♀️
Old one got interrupted by Tessa charm and viper stun still 🤔👍
Possibly immune to staggers from focus attacks of any level but not certain stuns?
They changed it
Read the description
Misinformation era
🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
They changed the old one too
Gave it cc immune on first slash
On activation, no? 🤔
Yes
👍
how to maximize cyra usage on solo? felt like it doesnt do anything, more like I cant hit anything
Yeah cyra is rlly easy to run away from
You could try spamming cc instead of using the laser
Dojo signups are now open for Saturday

this is a really dumb question but is there like a chinese teirlist/meta analysis? The only things I can find on the NA side are close to 5 months old
Can I parry matari blue focus F or use takeda F on its ?
no
you cannot parry
takeda F on blue ive never tried lol but i highly doubt it works like that
you have to dodge it
takeda F is for weapon attacks
Well its work on wuchen F for some reason
Thank for the info
it might ive never tried it, u should get a friend in customs and try im curious
but 100% cannot parry and should be dodged
I don’t have both of those thing :V that why I’m asking here
what is champion fight match?
there are no players in your lobby because the dev think it's a good feature
you can set the world on fire by upvoting this https://discord.com/channels/750237703739539497/1398077105022959696
we've had this before a few years ago and it flopped then already
F3 only
F3 grabs any blue focus. However F1 cannot grab non weapon attack
any good reason to prefer kylin v2 over his v1?
Generally it's better in a team scenario where you have someone that can heal you
It provides more dmg and it lasts longer if used correctly
Also it covers a much larger area in comparison
But without a support like ziping that can outheal what you lose passively with each dash, it's not worth it
I agree, it's too bad that I can find a game in solo mode ANY time. Cringe
what glyph should i use for vlada, lannie in solo/trio
Standard rage and grapple should be fine
Thank you and for justina should i use same
It would work the same 🤔👍
That's pretty much the base for most heroes
Then u can adapt as u feel fit
Thank you
that's not what I said
you find games, but once you're in there is only 10 players
Only "10 players" but now you can play the game and not wait for prime time from 4 pm to 2 am. Its a pity that most often a lobby of 40 people consisted of 20 bots. Maybe you liked waiting in queue for an hour. lol
My take applies to solo mode i can't speak for others
the "prime time" you describe is 10 hours long and i'd argue it's actually longer since it's no problem to find games even a few hours before and after that
you can play naraka for 16 hours a day no problem, start with some combo practice or customs and end with late night customs
with a fat 12 hour block of ranked
if that's not enough for you, nothing will make you happy
Alright let me put it another way. I like how you pull the main idea out of the conversation and then list other modes that have nothing to do with it. Let me explain it to you in a way even an "alternatively gifted" person would understand.
Say you live in an apartment and you can only get in between 4 PM and 2 AM. But for whatever reason you don’t make it on time and someone tells you, "Hey man, go sleep on a bench or check into a motel." Its the same thing here - i want to play solo, and i dont care about other crap. Champion Fight fixes this issue so you can easily find a match anytime.
If your entire argument boils down to bringing up factors completely irrelevant to solo mode (custom lobbies, combo practice), then don’t reply to me at all. This is starting to annoy me.
what is the range on tessa ult?
A tessa hit me with their ult when i couldnt even see them
it was v1 i believe
It's a pretty long range 👍
and it goes through walls
how do you beat kylin when he's ulting?
highground
so run? I meant are there any intervals where he's vulnerable more so lol
Like for instance with justina she can't freeze you if you're charging so that's the counterplay because for everyone you can kinda say run
Ah that makes more sense
more like it goes through everything lol
dodge the slashes, at the end of his attack there is a window to counterstagger
if you have gold focus abilities like ziping F or V, you can also armor through his slashes
don't jump against kylin
highground is pretty bad generic advice
kylin can aim up and if he hits you in the air, he can juggle you
in final circle, it's better to be on low ground against kylin, or he'll send you flying to Narnia
and you die to shadow
How to play yoto hime
What’s counterstagger mean?
Also thanks I like the advice you’re giving, I also kinda thought highground sounded bad, so I assumed what was meant was run away, but even that isn’t really advice to begin with
If you are higher compared to the enemy there is a range of things that won't work or that won't work as well 👍
Counter stagger is simply the chance to stagger him as a counter to his attack
A window where he is open to stagger after the move before he can start holding again
Might be a stupid question but how would I go about doing that? By using what kind of attack? Light, charge or a counter (I assume counter doesn’t work)
Light attack usually, weaved precisely after his full combo of slashes
Easy way to deal with him is to run away or scale rush around tho
The dodge one is hard and personally I don't feel comfortable with it
Yeah until he catches you lol, if you’re in a more open area I guess you gotta counterstagger but if I have the opportunity to scale rush I should. I’m alright at chaining scale rushes I guess I gotta practice that, thank you 🙏
👍
any tips for a new wuchen main?
Your ult is your safety trigger
If you have ult, you nearly always win fights, if you don't, you will have a harder time
ok i see but is the v1 useful, i see ppl usually run the v2
Teleport one is useful in some specific team compositions
But overall the falling blades one is overpower, there isn't much that can equal it
Especially because of a known, let's call it "feature"
If you miss the enemy when you throw the blade, it will create an aoe where blades will constantly fall from the sky
Any enemy that gets hit in there, is staggered for the whole duration of the aoe
It technically is a big from my understanding, but it's there
Bug*
so usually do u aim at people or terrain
People of you can
Terrain of you want to lock down a zone where let's say 2 or more people are
It depends on the case
Your nemesis are Shayol and Justina btw, due to their capability to tank your ultimate
This isn't always true, but mostly
i see, also does his f1 prevent fatal strikes if there only 1 floating blade?
Yes
damn
As long as there is a floating blade it will have that effect
It's written in the description afail
Afaik*
dont cryra also able to tank it?
Not all of it
If it's on her, she will get staggered by the big hits still
No idea about the aoe since I don't recall the interaction atm
even in her ult?
Yes
cool
Specifically in her ult
She can dodge the hit still.
Yep, exactly
Rather funny interaction with Wuchen V2 and Hadi V
If Hadi got hit by V2 and then fly around
The big sword will whiff and attack will fall down below him
I have no one to test weither this attack still deal damage or not but seeing a falling blade miss you only to fall to the ground is hilarious
😂😂
wuchen is genuinely broken, it doesn't seem all that possible to dodge that. How do you dodge that ult lol
Also is there counterplay for Zai's ult as well
hmmp
what meta hero today?
All of them are good
Don't bother about meta before getting comfortable with the game 👍👍
Learning mechanics is way more important compared to the hero you play
Picking someone you like is more important
thanks for the advice ❤️
Does silence counter Kylin's ultimate?
Only if you silence him before he press V
Gotcha, thank you!
How does akos counter shayol? I read he counters her, but how?
His tiger jump ignores her ult
Does Hp Jades work with that too, or just Weapon/Armor Rarity?
Just armor and weapon
what skill and ult is generally recommended for kurumi in trios? (nvm i checked pinned messages)
From my experience as a zai main she is really weak to crowd control (tessa, wuchen, a long combo). It is also rlly annoying when people run away
what about in a 1v1 scenario? is there any counterplay, like intervals where you can attack or things besides running?
uhh
If you can dodge her charged attack, it gives you an opportunity to start a combo
Most people use her v2 tho which has a wider range, so its harder to dodge
If you wait for her to use that big aoe, then her attacks are basically just a straight line so you can dodge it more easily
I believe there is enough time to start a combo before she charges her next charged attack
How do I deal with Feria ult? Do I just try to get cover the moment she cast it?
Either that or you can dodge it
Tap dodge when you see the bullet incoming
It's hard, but it's a possibility
She will be in either in 2 state during her ult: the running around state and the unable to move state (idk the name so sorry if it is confusing)
While her mech able to run around, she can heal herself but you can damage her armor & hp directly with range weapon outside of cannon by shooting at the middle of her mech. If she is in the unable to move state then you can find cover or just tap dodge her cannon shot
also the mech has a healthbar and if you can burn it her ult will end early
but usually just worth kiting it and resetting unless you have multiple people burning her ult
or if she's very low you can try to get the kill on her with direct damage like vang said
Thanks guys
tarka ji glyphs?
is it still possible to do the tarka infinite uppercut?
Yes
Yes, it's his main mechanic
help please
Pinned comments have your answer
Can anybody Tell me the perfekt Talents for yoto
Pinned comments 👍👍, there is a whole list of all the used skills 👍
if you are new to yoto, use f2. f1 is great and I always use it but if you can't get value from it just stick to f2. the v1 is very fun to use and can outplay other ults if you know what you're doing, but v2 is solid and can give you easy value if you aren't good with v1
Im Not that new but in my Rank rn is really Hard 😂 maybe i need to practice more with her.
What is more important in Solos/Duos? Stamina Reg or Grapple Distance? idk without grapple Distance i lose an enemy way to often and in fights my Stamina just runs out...
personally i couldn't live without grapple distance
it's just so nice to have
but i mostly play trios tho
Grapple distance. In all modes
It's just that impactful
I cant live without grapple speed 😭
alright thanks
Grapple distance is always better option, especially when you started to have a feel for the game. Stamina management becomes easier while grapple distance becomes more and more important
Oh ok. You just joined the server that day so i thought you are new. But you can use based on your preference anyway. Yoto takes some time to learn especially the new ult. If you want I can give you a more detailed explanation. I've been grinding yoto this season, I'm even rank 1 yoto
Maybe I should make a yoto guide
Maybe 🥳. Please do 🥹
Yes please, I just got under the top 100 yoto in Server Rank but it’s so Hard now 😂👀
It will be easier to explain on stream so i can demonstrate but I'll give a brief explanation.
So her ult gives you new attacks that are really good cc and pressure, not too much damage but if you can get a lot of hits in and tank other ultimates you can get a lot of value from it.
The hardest thing to understand is the stoneform. Her light attacks will stoneform light attacks, her charge will stoneform focus and when she finishes charging it will stoneform gold focus too
When she enters stoneform she will tank any additional hits and after 4 hits she will unleash a knockback attack with ultimate focus
When you reactivate the ult it gives you 4 seconds of ultimate focus and a slash that does little damage but a lot of self healing, this is great for countering other ultimates, peeling, or getting back health.
And for combat in ult, try to get light attacks for the most dps, you can even toothpick with her ult. The charge attacks are good but might knockback enemies too much for your team to follow up. The vertical charge is especially good at catching people in the air and you can also use it to avoid tarkas and yueshans or other things by charging then jumping, repeat.
Her jump horizontals are also great at tracking enemies
🎉 | Poly leveled up!
Ah well apparently I took a screenshot instead of saving the photo but I wanted to ask, are these listed in order of role? Like roles 1, 2, and 3 going left to right?
Nop
Just who picked who afaik 👍🤔
Because for example in the zai comp she's 1 , not 2
Gotcha. Thanks
How exactly does this work if you want to parry the hero in Ultimate? I tried it in Free Training, but no luck.
parry who?
for example hadi or tarka in their ultimate form
Oh, okay. I can pick him in free practice, so I thought you could counter him.
''countermeasure'' means like, going against their stuffs
not literally counter as in parry their ult
I've tried the others too, but I haven't had any success, but I don't know the conditions... like Hadi with 3rd stage
currently at this moment the only ult you can parry is hadi 3rd stage charge attack
with next update you can parry cyra 1st-2nd stage beam
As I understand it, you have to press the parry button. That's why I call it parry xD
ehh
I only saw a short clip. Yes, it's not a parry in the true sense, but you have to parry at the right moment, then it just clanks.
bro
no
what i mean
is you can ONLY do that to hadi ult 3rd stage charge attack at the moment
you CANNOT do that to ANY other heroes
yes I understood that
Only things that are partially are focus attacks that glow blue
And that are done with weapons that you can pick up
If the attack does not fall in that category, it's not parriable, you need to dodge it
This is to learn how to dodge their move or fight against them using abilities. Still the bot is rather dumb still
is Lyam Liu the one with raining swords skill? If yes, what do i do against that guy in 1v1? i got destroyed by 1v1 in last circle against that hero and i couldnt move at all and cant dodge?
is it like viper ult that u need to be out of LoS?
no that's wuchen v2
you can dodge the initial cast and avoid getting caught inside the bladerain area
if you got hit by the initial cast you can hold blue to reduce dmg taken from small blades while preserving your stamina to then tap dodge the big blades, rely on the sounds it makes
or you can use your own gold focus abilities to tank through it
I see.
Thank youuu
Trying to learn Shayol but I see people saying she’s a bad character to learn because she teaches bad habits. I’d like to make sure I am mindful of that, what are the bad habits she might teach me? Abusing ult to spam blue attacks?
I assume it is a similar case to Tarka, over reliant on V
you can't get staggered in her ult except by hard CCs
so you develop the habit of getting staggered all the time if you onetrick her
lmao
Hey do you guys have a good video about lannie combo guide ?
There isn't a single one with all combos afaik, especially now that the raw dragon (combo start from her ult) got patched out 🤔
If you need specific ideas I should have a few saved somewhere 🤔👍
Not specific idea, but more like basic working of her ult for example how can i do know the bubble will push the enemy on the last hit
Got it. Been playing this game on and off for a bit but trying to actually get good now. Would you say she’s a bad character to learn the game with then?
That's a good question, it depends on where the enemy is compared to the center of the ground smash
Hence it's pretty imprecise
Depending on how you act around it
yeah, she is one of the worst choices
imo the character that's best for learning the game on is viper
i can also recommend yoto (using the old ultimate)
As for how the ult works, it's pretty straightforward: after activation, press f to throw a ball at the enemies and this will stagger them for a while. The last hit throws them into the air. 🤔👍
Aside from that, when the ball is away you can press v once to do a big aoe attack
Can't use it while under attack, if you hold it it's golden focus afaik 🤔
learning the game on viper and/or yoto is tough, you will probably lose a lot as a new player
but at least you're learning the game how it's meant to be played, without overrelying on overpowered abilities
yea i know that, but how can i not where the last hit of the ball will throw the enemy like in the combos people just upercut after the last hit, but how they know where will the guy be thrown
Thanks! I’ll play more of those
Just got to Solar so I’m playing vs more real players and less bots now so I feel like it’s time to actually learn haha
i recommend 3bans for learning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEnjEpzzfps&t=178s&pp=ygUMM2JhbiBuYXJha2Fh
3bans are self-hosted training lobbies to practice fighting in Naraka Bladepoint. They can help you get good fast. In this video, you will learn how to host or join custom 3ban rooms and find out more about their rules.
3bans are sometimes called Custom 1v1s, Custom Lobbies, Custom Room or simply Customs. This is because 3bans are the most popu...
then play solo ranked on viper / yoto
you can do 1ban and 0bans in between
but it's generally helpful to focus on one thing at a time if you are new
like learning a specific weapon before moving on to the next
Oh yeah I’ve seen some of your videos, I felt like the name was familiar. Great content!
Is there a particular weapon that’s good to learn early? Longsword/katana are my most used
They don't, the trick is to catch them at the beginning of that throw
If you match the timing, no matter the direction, you will hit them at a similar spot always (near the Apex, at the beginning)
Oh okay, i think i got it
Anyway do u have some vids about how to combo with lannie ult ?
Except hightlight no one explain how to learn it x)
There are not afaik 🤔
There are montages
But all of the ones I found are outdated (still using the ukt to start the combo)
Any good chars to play with yueshan? Idk i feel so useless, when my m8 plays him...
is it still possible to do kurumi umbrella combos or outdated? was watching longnote's video from a year+ ago
stick to those for now, they are good
https://youtu.be/GvYWu_YnckM
Not ult but in general this was good
Hey guys,
I'm making this video to synthesize all my knowledge and everything you need to know about this amazing ability that is Yoto F1.
I could talk 30 minutes about that ability, I could certainly dive deeper in the usage of the ability, but I wanted to make this video a great gateway to anyone that want to try Yoto Hime no matter if they a...
He's played a lot of yoto watch his other vids too
ok thanks
can someone teach me how to play kylin zhang?
What do you need to know?
about his ult
Pretty straightforward, charge the attack, aim at the enemy, let go 🤔👍
Go v1 if you have no healer with you, so that you don't lose hp; V2 if you have a healer that can heal you
Try to avoid non charged attacks since they cost 1 stack 🤔👍
Working on a guide
But i typed up a lot that no one seemed to read
@true marsh check this
You can use light attacks for good dps. I will usually go for 1-hold dodge-1-2-hold dodge-1 then charge and repeat
With so much nerfs happening to Cyra (i mean for god sakes, shes been nerfed all year), is she even fun to play as anymore or even useable to go up against others? Any tips especially for the upcoming update?
alright thank you!
just wait until the update is live, try her out and pay attention to how many cyras you see in the game
pointless to speculate now
Can Lannie's trick ball leap ult stagger anyone? Ik she can stagger yoto's new ult while yoto is mid charge but anyone else?
It cannot stun everything , nop
But golden focus it does stagger
What is "saved from it" are abilities like Shayol ult if active, Justina freeze, transformers when transformed
And a few other things I think?
@kind ginkgo ouhh okay thank you!
Do we already know which of Inor's abilities seem better?
For me F2 seems superior in team mode but F1 is better for solo
As for V, I think V1 is worse in most case and V2 is gonna be the general go to
However this is my impression, for the reality, we must wait and see how the game evolve with him in it
One message removed from a suspended account.
No prob
Im interested 👀
Yea had the same impression from test servers for the last week
I have some tips written there, I've been working on a guide if you want to see what I got written so far, but need to record and edit the video
I can wait for the video, where will i find it?
So Inor his V2 is definitely more comfortable in combos
Ult im still playing with to see which is better
youtube once it's done
yeah v2 seems way better because of the teleport function too
and ranged attack
Also you can have your teammates combo with you
Jump -> F -> air Vertical for the confirm thunder plunge attack (idk the name) -> teammate pick up spear -> throw -> you teleport for the second confirm thunder plunge attack
Can't combo with inor ult
Spent the whole morning testing kt
I got some nice combo extensions with F1 tho. F2 is a bit slower so it can only / mostly end the combo while adding some extra dmg 🤔👍
throwing at enemy grounded and you can do something similar to dagger Vertical focus -> uppercut (i.e can't be done on bot but possible on players)
There are couple of combo but require teammates or airborne
Hence a soft true one🤔
That's another case, yeah 🤔🤔
Haven't tested coop tho
@kind ginkgo tested this with my friend
I got some work to do then 🤔👍👍
But at the same time
His F2 interrupting gold focus
Watch Some combos with Inor Wan F1 (took 30min, don't expect much) by uphoriah and millions of other Naraka Bladepoint videos on Medal. Tags: #narakabladepoint
on both initiation and recast
sorry to disrupt lol
no worry, we all discussing here
so what you do against Inor Wan when he ultimate?
Be awared of his F I guess
For now playing with my friend, I usually waiting for him to use his F mostly, using terrain to buy time mostly
At the same time, he might has high mobility in the air, he cannot hit airborne target without his F
During V I mean
That carousel I soent the whole morning trying to hit 😂😂😂
I tried the heng + rampage combo
Run, beard of the thrown thunders
I went for basic stuff
Still the combo extender for F1 seems kinda meh for a lot of weapon
It's not really an extension, heah
I can only make use of it for LS, staff/spear, throwing knives and Heng
Somes of them are even worse than going for standard combo ngl
Here is a few things I was working on this morning, when I could sit still
If you go f2, it deals more dmg and it does not need to be fancy 🤔😂
Well, like I said, for me F2 is superior in team mode
F1 does seem better for solo but F2 is not out of the question
Yeah
I have to test ults still, not sure of the difference
Just tested if I could extend combos or do combos with neutral attacks
V1 is like a Temmy team combo but with somewhat ehhh energy
Notee
What I saw is that the activation is super long
Which makes sense, considered his kit, but it feels a bit off
Watch Untitled by uphoriah and millions of other Naraka Bladepoint videos on Medal. Tags: #narakabladepoint
i only get this version when i do one uppercut in the beginning
its gets really hard when i try it with two
Watch Untitled by uphoriah and millions of other Naraka Bladepoint videos on Medal. Tags: #narakabladepoint
Watch Untitled by uphoriah and millions of other Naraka Bladepoint videos on Medal. Tags: #narakabladepoint
figured i could so something with a katana
Watch Untitled by uphoriah and millions of other Naraka Bladepoint videos on Medal. Tags: #narakabladepoint
and this seems really rng
@kind ginkgo I currently trying these out but as you can see I am doing the 25% render scale thing only to boost my fps to combo threshold XD
i got the same problem
gotta ask Luck to do it for us i fear 🤔
their fps look insane
Erm
Im out now
Bouldering

But the thing is you cant get it after doing the second uppercut with heng or katana if you wanna uppercut after F1
In my clips i just do it after the first one
Only works woth longsword i think
Yeah, did a couple of testing
after they landed, F1 cannot extend combo much
so they have to be high
I assume you just treat inor wan v as something like yueshan v?
any glyphs ideas for Inor?
you can forego the last red one I would think
so I would get full green top tree, first blue, then the rest in red
yeah that's basically what i have already, thanks bro!
Enjoy!!!
Yep, I was looking for a way to have the enemy higher up
Auto has red and green should I change it for inor?
Inor Glyphy just use standard glyps
🎉 | Neffy leveled up!
Red and green?
yes
guys, going through the thunder pack now for Inor and i'm wondering what's a "hero's theme" and where can i see what it would be used for? any ideas?
Does it show a record player?
Easier if u show a image
Where can i learn inor wan combos
He just came out so you will need to give it some time
We are working on it, came out yesterday, we are testing him 🤔😂😂
If you scroll up a few messages we sent a few ideas we came up with. Yesterday
ohh no not rushing like my qn is more of asking where can i find guides n combos on characters/weapons? cause i think youtube is quite outdated at least for the popular ones maybe there is somewhr i wasnt informed about
Basic weapons combos we have a few pinned videos in #🔱┃weapons-combat , I've posted a link for one of them this morning since someone was asking 🤔👍
For character specific combos, just ask, I'll see what I have around 🤔👍😂
There are some people with their personal library of combos 👍
where do they find it? or just saved it themselves through discord?
We mostly clip our gameplay and tests 🤔😅😅😂
It's a self made library
For example I got mostly Kylin and Lyam interactions
Just ask
We don't have many posted around
Character specific ones I mean
alrigth thank u
Np
Can viper v2 link proc stagger focuses? And up to which color
Viper V2 stagger aswell as v1 stagger all when they hit
Only thing it's short
I can run up right before, but can't toothpick right? Have to go into uppercut after 1 light
I'm mostly playing solo and duo with someone who doesn't play characters with a lot of control so I just take V2 for myself pretty much
Nop, ult stagger counts as 1 hit 👍
Hence you can only do an horizontal into uppercut
Ok
ahh alright thanks!
Yeah its how they talk
The pack changes their voice
Or dialouge
cyra got nerfed which is good, but I find it odd that you can counter her now but not other characters, that's odd game design, kylin's ult should be counterable and same with zai
they aren't making all the changes at once, hadi got the same treatment and I suspect most the heros will as well
or at least a few more
I completely get that, it’s just odd because it’s really nice for every ult to have counterplay
how do I survive Inor's ult? It's pretty easy if the terrain is rocky like ravines, but it's damn near impossible on a flat terrain.
Run away 😬
does lannie's ball stagger gold focus?
So I just saw cyras ults kind of gutted, which ult is better now?
They also removed the dmg reduction of v2 it was never overpowered?
They really nerfed Cyra then 😭
8 sec ult with just a small ring of healing and dazzle that everyone easily avoids it feels so bad
3 orbs for v1 feels yikes too😭
I think cyra got nerfed way too hard, she needed some nerf but this is way too much lol
Yeah I agree, and literally no one used it either
Will only play cyra now because of her skins 😔
Yes
But not ultimate focus (which also has the gold outline)
Anyone else think inor is a little too insane lol
But then again they make every new character op
Still annoying though
Not really. Can kite him similar to yueshan
Looks pretty ok to me
Speaking of which, has anyone found any good combos with him yet?
A few
But not that many
@little cargo g ?
mind sharing a few combos?
His ability seems really annoying, I can see the potential of it with running away
But his ult idk
Hey everyone, can you help me find videos/clips (no older than a year, if possible) about Kylin Zhang so I can improve my skills: using the ult... And also, if anyone would be willing to send me their glyph.
does anyone know why zai's v2 is better than her v1 for solos?
can someone tell if yueshan's ult has any good quality that surpasses inor's?
both of them are very similar except that inor's ult is much faster and can throw
No not really
They have the same scaling for hp and armor
Inor is much more faster and can do air movement freely
His plunging attack also stagger for long time tbh
guess I'll use inor over yueshan now
If anything, Yueshan only has a combo breaker over Inor
damn, Inor completely overshadowed Yueshan
Is Inor really the same HP as Yue? For some reason he seems squishier but to be fair I haven’t seen Yueshan players in a long time now
Yeah, I tested him out
Take same damage and scale with HP jades + armor the same as eachother
Interesting good to know ty
doesn't yueshan's ult deal more upfront damage?
🎉 | Smallfry leveled up!
Uncertain, but Yueshan's V is easier to avoid (mostly because a lot people is familiar with him, Inor will soon be easy to avoid) compare to Inor
You think hp worth taking on inor?
Well, as much as Yueshan need HP jade
HP provides much more significant effective hp for him

He also animation lock himself during plunge attack that leaves him over 2 seconds of vulnerable
I feel he's more like dps and yueshan more of a tank
he gets 30% dmg reduction during stabbing move next update
Should be because unless he tags all of the enemy team and happen to slam his vertical/air vertical to all of them at once. He will get dogpile on during that move
well i know he gonna get buff sooner or later
ngl, both are cook at soon as people moving mid air
cuz atm he's indeed underperforming in all modes
Without V's spear, he cannot hit anything mid air or even ceiling grab
does the new katana/heng sword congeneric weapon thingy just work the same way as defuse?
Wym?
I mean, it does more damage on paper, no? Of course, you'd have to actually land the attacks.
Like the attack negation is for like a few seconds right after you switch weapons
Hard to say, dps on one or multiple enemies, dps of best attack chain over duration or just dps of the most damage chain...
Something like that makes looking for dps on paper seems really meaningless for character like Yueshan and Inor, atleast for me
is takeda infinite katana combo possible with this ping?
or what do I need to learn to do so? cus the bot always drop to the ground on the second uppercut no matter how high I juggle him
Yes, what's your FPS?
Also, if you can, send a clip, I can take a look at it 🤔👍
I'm busy rn but will try
It reflects white attacks in activation (white aura) and parries focus attacks (blue)
Maybe around 80 ~ 100 I don't notice
Fps even matter?
For combos for are the important thing
Ms plays a role only when super high cuz it causes weird nap backs,...
But generally low FPS = no combod
75 should be enough for a basic takeda Tod tho
I'm guessing it's a grapple positioning and timing issue
I can do grapple combo consistently is what I know
@kind ginkgo here it is, idk why it is in mkv file tho
Bit slow on execution
Also for some reason your uppercut goes sideways (second one), so it misses the enemy
which timing do I need to notice?
like, dodge or slide timing idk
Here you don't have to run, just dash forward and slide
The goal is to make everything as quick as possible
Try shortening the delay between your actions as much as possible
I just end up doing vertical 1 instead of slide and uppercut
Gimme a few mins, I'll see if I can manage to clip a similar one for reference 🤔
Most of the dmg on takeda infinite comes from the double uppercut before afaik 🤔
(This means you didn't give enough time for the slide, in case)
I find that sideways dash is slightly better and quicker personally, but I ain't 100% sure about it
It's the timing u start the dash at, been testing for a while and that's mostly the issue 🤔👍
thx man, I will try, got to juggle the bot past 2 uppercut now
WP!!
Id say 3 is prolly the max ATM, on flat terrain btw 👍
is zai good for duos?
She's good indeed 👍
okay thank you
Np.
Um double uppercut katana how can i imediately sit after use hook @kind ginkgo
It's a matter of timing. The challenge is pressing crouch as soon as you bump into the enemy 👍
If, on the other hand, you meant how to stay on the ground after an uppercut by using a grapple; in that case you need to grapple as soon as the uppercut animation starts, you will throw the enemy into the air, but the grapple will overwrite the uppercut keeping you closer to the ground compared to you enemy (and this is what allows to have bumps with a good height 👍)
thank you i will try this
I'm new to the game. What do you think about Viper?
She's really strong, bit on the harder side to start with, due to her f no being a combo breaker
But if you like her then she's good 👍
Everything works in this gamr
I've got 30 hours of in-game time and I'm playing only her at the moment.
I should probably play all of them to better understand the characters when I fight them.
Thanks

That's definitely a good thing to do indeed 🤔👍
Eventually you can always try them out in practice tool to see how it goes 👍
Are all melee weapons good? Or are there some that are better?
I think they're all good if you master them.
got the 200 tokens, which character should I get, new to game and played for 3 hours
So, all weapons are good and are worth learning
There are some that perform slightly better than others due to specific gimmicks (like fistblades dash charge or staff precise release and range)
But overall you will notice that some weapons click better with you than others.
((greatsword is the worst weapon in the game, in case 🤔😂🤷🏻♂️))
This is a hard question to answer I would say. It depends mostly on you 🤔
i think transform hero is good to survive
All heroes are viable, some are here aswell a bit stronger than others, but considering the speed at which the game gets updated, it does not really matter. Some characters fit some playstyles better overall, so it depends on what you are looking
Quite the opposite actually 🤔. They tend to lose a lot of mobility, becoming a giant target for ranged attacks , especially in a solos scenario 🤔👍
On the other hand, they are good to deal damage in trios , if supported correctly
yup
the special is they have yellow hit and decrease dame from support talents
Justina Gu and Shayol Wei are best choice too to survive
if u were to start a new account what would u choose?
Personally? Lyam liu 🤔
But I am also super biased, he's my favourite character
Best thing would be to go and try them out to see who you like best (practice tool, press h and select the hero you want)
is cyra just not worth playing now?? her ultimate was so nerfed, she can basically no longer heal since it's only 3 orbs and her laser can be parried now???
i really enjoyed playing her now she's jus nerfed down to the grave
She is still pretty strong imo 🤔
Hey guys, can someone suggest a Glyph page for Zai, Im using F2/V2 for duos/trios?
is she? i feel like she lacks healing now?
She's still meta for solos
The healing was never a focus of her kit just an added bonus
And did the healing even get nerfed?
and duos/trios?
her ult allows her to throw max 3 orbs now, healing was buffed a bit but she doesn’t have infinite orbs anymore
She's still very strong. 2nd health bar, consistent damage + cc
mm.. okay thank you
anyone know what skills i take for iron wan trio ranked ??
Id recommend V2 f2
F1 also good , depends on what you like and the situation u find yourself in
what glyphs would you recommend for Inor?
Like Zai and Yue Shan?
Consider inor sake as a yueshan, yeah
Oops wrong
Which one of these two is for Duos/Trios. Thanks for the help btw @kind ginkgo
They are a bit outdated
Id go half red (rage per dmg dealt) and half green
Grapple distance side
That should be the standard one
Blunt?
The purple that reduces dmg when charging
Not worth most of the times
It only counts for the first hit you take
And the moments where you get hit while charging focus are somewhat rare
(then again, if you see pro players they use other builds also centered around parrying, but it's another world there)
can u help me inor wan glyphs?
You can just check our conversation above.
can you no longer interact with tessa's orb while in zai's f?
I remember I used to be able to but in a recent match it would make me exit flame ward whenever I tried
how do people do quick jumps?
Do you mean smaller/shorter hops?
It’s a similar concept to the difference of a tap dodge vs a hold dodge. If you just lightly tap your jump key your character will do a shorter jump, whereas holding the jump key will trigger a higher jump that takes more time to execute
What gylphs should i put in on Inor Wan?
Green and red standard should be fine
I've only been playing for 2-3 days and I got exactly 1 shot from full HP and armor at the very end yesterday. Using Inor Wan. How should I really build him ?
The hit was from a longsword.
In this game, the condition to get complete one shot is extremely rough, and you cannot do it with LS unless you mean by a combo
Maybe it was a full combo and it didn't register on my end ? It was one game last night.
That being said, I was in blue armor.
With a mix of defence and attack jades. I flew forward after the attack.
By what you said, it cannot be a full combo. But for blue armor then yeah you can get blast like to 70% under right condition but oneshot is still far from possible
I've been trying out justina and i always seem to go way past the enemy when using her v1's skill and then by the time i get back the enemy is unfrozen already. Is there a way to stop in the middle of the dash?
I see. I must've missed something in the heat of the battle.
Maybe I was hit and didn't notice then. Regardless, it was a VERY short few seconds fight.
Golden GS with the jade
(I knw they talking about LS DW)
Piercing shot + slowshot + headshot will do
Also help the guy above a bit, imma go to sleep
The guy who got oneshotted
I'll read the whole convo after I take a quick shower 🤔👍👍
Jump or press Shift
Jump, crouch, attack
It works with attack too?!
Why shouldn't it? 🤔 It's the easiest one to do
I’ve never tried that actually, even tho I have like 4400 points on her
How did you discover crouch and jump before pressing left click 🤔
😂😂😂😂
Now that's funny😂😂😂😂
Good question
In case you could technically also grapple if you are fast enough
If u want another useless one, u can cancel Kylin f2 choke by dashing, and you can cast the kick at another moment
You can chain it into a combo aswell, but it's in no way true, since for some reason as soon as you cancel the choke, the stagger disappears
Here an example
Useless, but looks cool
I’ve saw someone here, that you can cancel Akos V2 at the right timing. Looked so weird haha
Akos dashed like 10 meters with no animation
Oh acrually you mightve been hit by a ballista at the same time if u flew really far
fun fact, i hit it quite a few times on people 😆
they dont usually knw it or dont react
yep
guys anyone knows how to play against inor wan ult??
Hey, lads! how is the current state/view on akos and takeda? I want to learn one of them (but cannot decide), since id like to have one of those 'brawlers' in my pool.
I mainly play Trios. What is their prefered comp to play with?
Do we have a list of what heroes go in which role? Specifically I’m looking for ones that play well in the 1/Entry role for trios.
I know we have the one video that has a few comps but wasn’t sure if any of the newer champions fall into the role.
Akos isn’t really played in trios, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it work. Takeda is commonly played in a team comp called Sand Siphon, alongside Temulch & Cyra. Before cyras release a standard healer was played in her place (zip or Kurumi)
Takeda is very strong but requires good team coordination to capitalize on his shoves + without a combo breaker he is vulnerable so needs his team to peel for him at times
Akos in trios probably runs V1 (the one with 3 back to back tiger leaps)
Whereas V2 is seen in duos/solos & only gived 2 tiger leaps but you don’t have to chain them back to back the way V1 forces you to. So you can play more mind games with them and be less predictable.
at the higher levels Takeda is probably better than Akos (for trios specifically) but Akos is definitely a bit of a noob stomp character. He is very hard to deal with for new players + lower skilled players.
Ty alot for your efforts!! This been a really good insight! I practice takeda then. I just need a feeling on wich abilities to use and learn how to combo each weapon after he throws ppl to the ground i guess
Honestly Takeda shoves in trios are mainly just used for a free blue, since you don’t typically get a combo off before one of their teammates griefs you out of it
Or they’re used to peel yourself/your team after a parry or during a CC like Tessa charm etc
Polesword Takeda is common/popular since you can guarantee a polesword blue which hits extremely hard
that some reason is because the stagger only exist while you are in contact with your opponent using F2
Similar to other grabbing jades
🤔👍
Does Inor Wan have any weaknesses?
Quite a few actually
First of all, no combo breaker, if he got jumped and stagger, he is dead. Second, as much as his V seems unstoppable, he can be dogpiled on by people if he plunge attack someone. Third, as much he seems super agile in V, if he used his F, he cannot attack someone who is high in the air, he can't even attack people who is hanging to the ceiling
does inor's ultimate have any good way to catch people running (excluding F)?
He catches me all the time when I’m running
So uh yeah I think so
Idk for sure tho cuz I don’t play him
At least for the moment
His only gap close is the spear really, if the spear lands on you he’s gonna be right on your head
While in ult^
After I use F, they always seem to grapple away
or they dodge
Idk what’s up with it. Haha
I very rarely get away from him. This is probably what happened to me
Jump attack
Scale rush, grapples, climbing up buildings are all good options to get away
His jump vertical is really good at catching running people
But if you are out of F, they hanging from the ceiling, might as well turn off your V right then and there
isn't jump vertical the plunge attack?
the range is pretty small
jump vertical will hit them off cielings tho
It has a super nice tracking on it
It gap closes somewhat well
ah ok
when I tested it didn't seem to connect
Hi guys, i am trying to learn valda as a Solar 5 player. Could you give me some tips pls?
Oh....
Rip
I literally installed and got Inor Wan 4 days ago and been using him ever since. Tho, I have few more heroes, I love his ult. As for catching people in air, the only air fighting he can do is when you send someone flying off a cliff and can quickly dash to get to them. That's about it. That said, good players just jump away and climb until it's ult duration is over.
But then, I'm EXTREMELY Noob
his ult lacks ways to catch people up in the air yeah
there is a way, but it's pretty limited
it's reactable
pay attention to her animation and the sound
Hahaha I feel you. I also started playing like a week ago

How am I supposed to be dealing with Kylin ult, it feels like it last so long and it's difficult to hit him
Dodge, use your ult to match maybe depending on who you’re playing
If you’re playing something like feria she can just tank him w mech and cannon shoot him for stagger even when he’s ulting
Valda spears can also CC him + give you extra HP to survive
But if you’re something like v2 viper where ulting after him does nothing you kinda just try to kite and survive as best you can
Hey guys I've been mainly playing Zai only with my friend playing mainly Kurumi, but I've been having more and more trouble staying alive in Trios, constantly piled on and almost instantly bursted (playing F2/V2) they are not going for the healer even and I try to play on the edge where I can dish as much DMG as possible but still not give them opportunity to jump on me, but obviously players started getting seriously good (Astral 3) and It's been more annoying because I can't increase my skill level that fast to compensate for the lack of escapes/survivability, do you have any tips on that situation? Another question I would like to ask is I've been thinking about trying Valda/Viper/Inor Wan are they good with Kurumi, my thought process is someone that can survive a bit longer to help the healer if she is focused and also use their kit to setup the team for combo/play?
Zai’s best mode is trios but the reality is she’s very hard to play effectively since almost every ult/ability can take Zai out of her gold charge (Matari F, Kylin Ult, any transformer, Cyra dazzle or beam, the list goes on) so you have to have really good positioning and sometimes you really need to try and force out enemy ults first. For example if you ult right away on Zai, but the enemy team answers with something like a Kylin ult, you’ll get next to no value from your ult as Kylin will stagger you constantly out of charges & iirc his ult lasts just as long as Zais so there’s no wiggle room to work with
If you’re looking for survivability I’d stay away from Viper, she is very very vulnerable. One step out of line & she gets absolutely blown up since she has no combo breaker unless you’re running V1, but V1 viper requires a lot of team coordination to lock people down with.
That’s why she was commonly played with V1 Wuchen, who could teleport her or her body out of trouble when/if things went wrong
Valda would probably be the best out of the characters you listed for having survivability + synergy with Kurumi. Valda’s water abilities turn Kurumis circle into a water circle, which also heals HP instead of just healing armor.
You might consider feria for survivability if transformers are on your mind
Feria can also peel really hard for her teammates
Not really, I just get days when I get demolished and it's hard
@slate sierra May I ask what is your opinion on Shayol in Trios?
Not the best, but decently strong 🤔👍
She can definitely create some chaos with her v1 and survive in a fight. The second the enemy starts kiting it gets a bit hard, but if they hit you it's good
She can work in ranked like Eldran said but she also gets screwed by the transformers in trios + there’s a lot of cannon fire in trios sometimes. You can definitely try her out and just see how it goes
Valda probably has more play making potential with her ult just because it isn’t reliant on the enemy proccing your shields
But imo Shayol shield is harder to dodge than valda spears
Yep, it's faster
