yeah her ulti can be dodged but if they don't, it's game over. also good for when the other guy is fighting your teammate and you surprise him with a spear/bubble from behind
but at least it has a small AOE splas which can catch them, so my tatic is get up close 1v1 range, look down and aim at their feet kind of. smaller movements are still caught that way dur to the AOE effect

I absolutely love her utility and strength, she basically tells the opponent that you'll 1v1, and they can't move X"""DDD much easier to single out enemies from a duo/trio and make the fight easier for your team
she ain't foolproof, but fits my playstyle so far I'd say 😄 complements it even

but i'll be honest the real value of the ult is the HP shield
it's there to keep you alive much longer in the fight and dissuade opponents from trying to hit you
i played with a valda main a lot and this is like a perfect time window for him to heal up while i kite them or for him to use group heal, and then go back in, it's almost impossible to lose if the players are good
your ult is really just a "get off me and dont touch me" button but then you do things that REALLY demand enemy attention so you create scenario where they need to do the suboptimal thing - hit a valda in her ult

YES!!! She basically gets the health of a transformer, with the added benefit of keeping her human form and attacks. Not only that but if you end your ulti or the enemy damages you that much, you revert to the stats (HP/armor) AT THE TIME YOU STARTED YOUR ULTI, so if you ulti at max everything, you get 2 health bars
