about the elements, you must have thunder imbue on element surge to get the jade effect, the rest 5 you can go with both ice or poison because 1: element dmg doesn't matters on this build and 2: imbuing with ice/poison will make it easier to get into surge state and summon divine thunder
since any imbue will decrease the corresponding element accumulation rate on yourself, and increase the corresponding element accumulation rate on enemy

mastery jade's element imbue doesn't matters on this build i'd say, maybe if you reaaaally want to min maxing it you could wield all 3 elements to make use of this potential node, so ur different type of elemental burst doesn't happens all at once, like let's say 1 thunder 2 poison 4 ice for example

You can't make (good) use of Chain Crush and Lotus with the current Potential. One of them will have to be without an element, which will severely lower the damage output.
If you're using an Elemental Build also you don't want to use Sap, Whirling Slash is better in that regard.

Yeah the ammo regen seems buggy in there. Doesn't always restore ammo over time in Deadeye. I've had runs where I didn't have to reload and runs where I used all the repair kits.

- Sap is mostly terrible for Element Builds, you pretty much always want a Weapon-specific one since it gives access to an attack to accumulates Element quickly.
- Your Potential Tree is set up for a Toxic Chain build, but you're missing Toxified Chain and Toxin Seep which are signficant parts of the build.
- Toxified Chain gives access to a powerful attack after applying Toxified enough times.
- Toxin Seep allows you to keep reapplying Toxified to enemies with your Aegis-break and Defuse Counterattack once Toxin Surge is activated (by standing in your Pestilent Pool).
- If you want a Toxic Lotus build, you'd want to get rid of Element Surge & Miasma Drive to replace them with Toxified Lotus, Ghastbloom & Venomous Lotus.
- You want to make sure all of your Jades are Poison-Wielding as its damage scales directly proportional to that amount.
- Having 4 out of 6 Poison-Wielding will make you deal 5/7ths Poison DMG and moderately reduced accumulation, causing you to activate Poison Blasts much slower.
- Yoto Hime is kind of on the weaker side right now while she doesn't have access to her Curio. Having access to Aerial Rend does help her a lot, but she's still very clunky to use.

Replace Backfire & Desperation with Shattered Edge & Renewed Vigor if you don't want to deal with damaging yourself (heavily).
Do note, you'll have to make sure you Poison yourself (from Pestilent Pool) in order for Renewed Vigor to work. Otherwise, you can replace that with Sub-Zero Seal if you're okay freezing occasionally or Bolt Mastery for absolute comfort.

As a controller/console player, I only aim for the head when Aegis is broken or that spawn window

- Double the chance of rare attributes.
- Lower the hard pity of rare attributes from 150 to 90.
- Make Legend Jades reasonably craftable.

- Increase the cost per Recast on that Curio so you can't just Craft one Curio and be finished.
With those changes, progression would feel a lot better. Time gated progression should have limited-to-no RNG involved to balance it.

they already can't get some meta ice jades because they are locked behind peak/nirriti NS
can't even recommend ice surge for first build because they can't solo NS and it takes week to find 1 group for that difficulty in trios
and even if they manage to do NS getting frozen blast out of that drop table is RNG
successive ice blast from NS yushan i think, that's not easy level for new players to farm either

Yeah that's probably why a lot of newer players are running it. Also had a lot of events that just gave the poison jades off rip. It does have the highest base scaling though with less reliance on Moderation/Scorching, so it makes sense.

One is a standard Surge variant that allows you to chain Counterstrikes back to back.

23 instead of 22 for ranged heroes.
Rare Weapon gives +120 Base Attack
Epic Weapon gives +140 Base Attack
Legendary Weapon gives +160 Base Attack
Roughly a 5.4% DPS increase from 21 to 22 for melee heroes.

It's actually harder for em since they don't know which build to go after and regret it later.
That's why most common new players go after Ice surge.
