so you get to asura on NA and EU then when season settled you login into NA claim 10 chests then login into EU claim another 10 chests

Charging blue focus gives you resistance to light attacks which you can use to gain priority. Even more so to tank the first hits then quickly release the attack before you fully charge a blue focus to cancel it into a light attack and follow up with a combo.

Hold checking with blue focuses and try to bait parries

And you can use combo breaking abilities to get out of combos but be careful how you use them

1- this is a martial arts Battle Royale? if so how difficult is it? I do vaguely remember it being quite difficult to get combos going (beyond normal new game difficulty)

Hello and welcome

1. Yes, mostly consisting of melee and ranged weapons, characters skills and ults etc. As for the difficulty, it has a pretty high skill ceiling and learning curve, I'd say rather beginner unfriendly unless you are willing to take a lot of time to get used to the game and learn from losing A LOT. It's mainly getting used to the guessing games and mental gymnastics of baiting opponents and reading their moves.

2. I'm assuming you're talking about the binding accounts to get rewards monthly, which is entirely optional tbh. You get some pretty nice rewards each month if you bind the accounts such as discount vouchers for treasures. But if you don't really intend on spending gold (the premium currency) to buy them then you won't really have to worry about it. Also if you do stick with the game, the most important thing to bind is your account to the discord in #🔗┃bind-account so you can receive your in game rewards from discord events if you decide to participate.

3. Battlepass, shop, treasures (loot boxes pretty much), steam market cosmetics (these are usually rather pricey so unless you're a whale you won't be paying too much attention to them), and events. Cosmetics are purely visual and don't really affect the gameplay, unless obviously few cases of blocking vision for example.

4. The game has a pretty decent player count i'd say. Although most of it is from china which is separate from the global version of the game. But outside of china there is still a decent amount of players, and yes a lot of bots, especially in lower ranks. The higher you climb up in rank, the fewer the bots but they will also get stronger.

5. From my experience i'd say steam is overall the best platform yes, both in terms of navigation, security, reliability and accessibility. Others might disagree but i personally prefer steam over many other platforms

It's basically a mix of battle royale and fighting game yes, that has quite a lot of mechanics to play around. And yea you have a multitude of characters to choose from. I'd say ziping and valda are some of the most beginner friendly characters in the game so you could try these 2 and see how you like them

let's say you got it today (by reaching 2000 points) then you can equip it immediately, and when new season begins (your points resets to 0) you can still equips it, but in this new season if you failed to reach 2000 points before it ends then next season you won't have it from the beginning, you will get it again after reached 2000 points

After the latest update I cant start NARAKA on Windows 11.
The game starts loading from Steam but closes without any error before reaching the lobby. It worked fine before the update, and reinstalling or verifying files didnt help.
Many players seem to have the same issue after this update. Is this problem already known, and is there any ETA for a fix? Will any compensation be considered while the game is unplayable?

yep, we were in voice chat yesterday, and everything worked fine for me. After this morning's patch, the game stopped launching completely, so it seems the update broke something on Windows 11 as well. Ive already submitted a support ticket. I checked the logs myself, and it looks like the anti-cheat starts but exits before the game actually launches, so its probably related to the latest EAC update or a compatibility issue with the current patch

Why do admins only act after players complain?

I have a serious question for the admins of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT:
Do you only ban players after someone reports them?
Until then, does nobody actually monitor the game?

Because from a player’s perspective, this makes absolutely no sense.

Teaming is not subtle. It is obvious, repetitive, and completely visible through replays, behavior patterns, and match data. Are we really supposed to believe that unless a player submits a complaint, no one checks anything at all? That sounds careless at best — and frankly, foolish at worst.

Meanwhile, honest players like me are taking real damage:

Lost matches

Broken competitive integrity

Wasted time and effort

Frustration caused by clear rule-breakers getting free wins

I invest my time into this game expecting fair play. Instead, I’m punished for following the rules, while others openly team and face no consequences unless someone “complains loudly enough.”

This system actively encourages cheating and discourages fair players.

Because of this negligence, I have suffered significant loss of time and enjoyment, and it raises a fair question:
Will there be any form of compensation for players who are negatively affected by unchecked teaming? Even in-game rewards, rank protection, or any acknowledgment would be better than silence.

Right now, it feels like responsibility is being pushed entirely onto players, while enforcement only happens reactively — if at all.

This is not how a competitive game should be managed.
Please take responsibility, actively monitor violations, and protect players who actually play by the rules.

someone might look at it and if they determine it should be punished, it will be, but from what i've seen it's only short temporary bans

and in many cases i've seen teamers not get punished because it was determined to not be teaming by someone who doesn't know what they're looking at

so keep your expectations low

Hi, every time I click “Import Custom Face,” the Windows file dialog opens normally, but after a couple of seconds the game closes completely. If I’m quick enough, I can select the image and press Enter, but it still crashes immediately afterward. This only happens with the Import feature — the rest of the game works perfectly fine. I’ve already tested on a new Windows user account, repaired Windows with sfc /scannow and DISM /RestoreHealth, rebooted multiple times, checked AppData paths and environment variables, and even tried forcing legacy file dialog behavior through the registry, but the issue is still exactly the same. It seems like the crash happens during or right after the file selection process. Please help 😭😭😭😭

The issue is already for atleast 2 weeks. The new anti-cheat is kind of broken. It affects rigs with older components. What I kind of noticed it affects those with older processor. If you check steam discussions you will see that there are alot of affected people not only for Eu region, Asia to. Basically the game starts and after you chose your server the anicheat crashes the game.

Did verify on 2 different rigs with older components, my pc has i7-3770 my laptop has i7-7700. The game works just fine on the laptop with both windows and game reinstalled while on the pc it does not work.

For a game where I mostly invest money atleast once a month to gave an issue that lasts for more than 2 weeks it's kind of anoing
