Naraka has recently updated its Unity version because the former version had a vulnerability. As far as I can tell, this version change directly affected netcode components of Unity. There's a good chance that a compat layer such as proton/wine might run into issues with a new, untested version of a game including slightly altered netcode and/or different methods of interaction with the OS

I switched to PC recently and was using a cloud gaming service while waiting for my physical setup to arrive. During that time, Naraka ran fine through the cloud service.

Once my PC arrived, the game would launch but consistently crash during the loading phase but threw bi codes or errors after my account was recognized.

The same account continued to work normally through cloud gaming.

Because cloud services route logins through different data center locations, I wanted to clarify whether frequent location changes (cloud vs local), combined with switching hardware, could affect Naraka’s authentication or launch behavior?

To be safe, and while return windows and discounts were still available, I exchanged and upgraded the PC. Both systems were well above recommended specs, so I’m trying to determine whether this was more likely a system-level compatibility issue on that specific machine rather than an account or region issue.
From a technical standpoint, is it reasonable to conclude that the problem was isolated to that PC’s hardware, firmware, drivers, or OS configuration, rather than anything related to account trust, login location, or cloud usage?

Many people got that crashing issue after the latest patch. Hard to say the exact cause but it seemed more likely to affect those with hardware limitations. I would suggest contacting #🆘┃official-support for some more insight.
Logging in on different devices and such shouldn't cause issues in itself, but having better hardware will usually help avoid crashes.

I also have been having a crashing problem too, but this problem has been happening since July of last year and has never been addressed. Anytime i open the game and get to the main player menu after loading it crashes. I have tried everything under the sun including all the fixes presented on this forum. Its really frustrating because i haven't played at all and was an avid player with lots of money and time put into this game only to have everyone tell me they cant help. I don't want to start over on another platform and at this point i have no choice but to uninstall, i cant even get to the menu to officially close my account.
