So basically I was in the air, I tried to grapple to get away but someone grappled me and I got stunned.

Can you not get staggered after a scale rush? Are the any tips to avoid getting staggered by grapple?

I did learn a bit playing against bot, plus you need to learn how to deal with em even in real matches since I cannot freaking count the times I was killed by one, so learning how to exploit their weaknesses help you in a real match, and yes aim for hard, those are the crazy bots, they will read your inputs

Yoto does well against newer players but eventually becomes harder to use, although she is still solid in duos or trios.

Cyra's really bad if you can't aim.
Tessa has easy-to-land stun, foxfire acts as a second safety net, decent Tessa ult can destroy people, especially if you fox them in the face. The fox itself staggers, so you can start a combo, stun pops, you just continue to wail on them. A good Tessa ult can just guarantee a kill.

If you're playing solos is gonna be easier for ppl to dodge it unless you ult in their faces

If you are playing duos or trios the safest thing would be to stay in the back line and let your teammate charge first. Once your enemies are all together just cast your ult (you might have to aim a bit)

Also one thing I like to do is hit them with ult in the air or from a higher surface so its harder for them to reach it and free themselves

If you ult in the air the pot will fall down but it gives you some time to avoid them reaching as soon as you ult

Also her ult has a lot of range so the further you ult (within range) the better so it's even harder for them to free themselves

What I've seen some ppl do is let the enemy get close to the pot to free themselves but stop them last second to secure a combo

And if you run her f2 (the tail trap) you can cast it on your pot or near it to avoid them freeing their souls
